Nifty500 is up 3.90% today. 831 points in a single day. Have a look at the chart. Gap ups of this size are rare. And when they happen, they deserve serious attention. Not just India. Japan, Hong Kong, Korea markets across the world moved up hard today. Is this the reversal? It could be. I won't rule it out. But right now, stocks are not setting up based on my criteria. The index has gapped up sharply but it is still sitting well below the support it broke down from. Individual stocks bounced above their supports but their broader structures are still topping structures. The market has to prove its strength a bit more. When it does, stocks will start fitting the setup criteria. And when that happens, we commence buying. Right now we wait. Not every day deserves action.
