PSA for Indie Devs: If it’s a spiritual successor or a lookalike or “heavily inspired by” type game… don’t charge me full price for it. Throw it on steam for $5 and I’ll buy it and play it a few nostalgic weekends of the year. If I have to pay $20+ for a game that feels like a game I’ve already played, I will have to compare it to that other game, WHICH I ALREADY OWN. So now I have to convince myself I’m not getting suckered and I hate that feeling of being suckered, so I’ll probably just keep my money. Just my 2 cents.

Hoping to get a game key for this. Been dying to try out something new in both the strategy and survival genre. Unfortunately there’s a lot of bloat in those categories and refunding a game after spending several hours playing it is nearly impossible (that’s how long it usually takes to actually get deep enough into a survival game to know if it’s bad or just simply isn’t for you)

I applied! I’m excited to see where this project goes and I agree strongly with the mission statement. I miss the early days of streaming and content creation. There were more genuine creators. People played games they enjoyed and people watched people they liked. There wasn’t this weird “number must go up” mentality. People used to get called out and suffer real social and financial consequences for it. I’ve been around every shade of streamer, as well. From the 1 viewer Andy to some of the most well known people in the space. And honestly, it just sucks to see this thing I love continue to lose its soul. I’m a huge advocate for streaming, but this current streamer meta and content creation is just so soulless and fake.

RE: Red button vs blue button. Change the percentage from 50% to 99%. If 99% of the people press blue, then everyone is saved. If you press red you are saved no matter what. See how that affects your personal decision and the outcome of the poll.

Am I missing something here?? It’s easier to get >50% Blue than 100% Red Even 1% is 80 million people dead if 99% clicked red. So if the results were switched, that’s 3.5 billion people dead. Society would be in shambles and your life/the world would change drastically :(
