@olivertaste "isn't around" is just a loose description. When the player approaches the counter and stands before it the shop keeper does nothing weird but when the player goes away a few steps it's enough to be "not around" 😅 So it's not exclusively off-camera - just like at the chair shop

@BucketFullGames I like this kind of off-camera detail. Idle animations when the player isn’t around do a lot of quiet worldbuilding, especially in pixel art. Curious how you decide when an NPC should feel truly “at rest” versus just waiting?
