Iran's war strategy is fairly straightforward: Blind U.S. forces by taking out radar installations, then fire low-cost, low-end missiles and drones at various targets to deplete U.S. air defense interceptors. I'm going to say as Elon already has some experience with Neuralink surgery and FDA regulations, that a 3 year timeline is going to be for patients that sign a wavier to be experimental guinea pigs, not for wide deployment and for very limited types of surgery in a controlled environment. Based on how long it is taking to get FSD on Tesla certified anything before 10 years is warp speed. We are not talking combat medic here.

Well, there are already surgical robots doing precise, delicate tasks. So three years is not a stretch. The variable is how Optimus preforms. Elon's team has worked really hard on perfecting the hands - that is key. Routine type surgery where everything stays fixed in place - like a knee replacement will be relatively easy - sever trauma like a bleeding chest wound or a severed limb is going to take longer to train because those are outliers with more variables.
