🚨‼️The devil does not mind you saying Jesus is important, inspiring, loving, or even “alive in your heart.” He starts choking when you say Jesus Christ got up out of a grave in a body and that the saints are going to do the same. That is where Christianity stops being a mood and becomes a threat. A dead hero can be admired. A risen Lord must be obeyed. And that is why so much religion gets nervous around 1 Corinthians 15. It can handle heaven talk, but it cannot handle graves opening and corruption putting on incorruption. A lot of people want a Christianity that comforts them without confronting death. The Bible does not offer that. It marches straight into the cemetery and says the grave is temporary, the body matters, and death is the last enemy, not the final friend. This world keeps trying to train people to make peace with death, but Jesus Christ did not come to make peace with death. He came to conquer it. He did not walk out of that tomb so preachers could help people cope with the grave. He walked out of that tomb so the grave would lose its authority over everyone who belongs to Him. That means your future is not a cloud, a harp, a ghost, or some invisible floating soul drifting around in religious fog. Your future, if you are saved, is a glorified body. A real body. A raised body. A changed body. A body beyond lust, beyond weakness, beyond corruption, beyond shame, beyond disease, beyond fatigue, beyond funerals, and beyond the grave itself. The modern church keeps trying to sound deep by becoming vague. Paul was deep because he was plain. “The dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” That is not poetry. That is a promise. So the next time somebody tells you resurrection is just symbolic, spiritual, or “about new beginnings,” remember this: the empty tomb is God’s public declaration that He is not done with the body, not done with creation, and not done humiliating death. Jesus Christ is alive, bodily, gloriously, and forever. And because He lives, every grave of every blood-bought saint is living on borrowed time.
