👨‍⚖️ High Court quashes false cases against social media warrior @NallaBalu; @KTRBRS calls it a victory for democracy ✅ In a landmark judgment upholding the sanctity of freedom of expression, the Telangana High Court has quashed three illegal cases filed against social media warrior Shashidhar Goud, popularly known as Nalla Balu. The court’s decision comes after he was wrongfully arrested and jailed for over 20 days merely for retweeting BRS Party tweets. Telangana Police had forcefully entered his residence, broke open the doors, and carried out the arrest, sparking outrage over the misuse of state machinery. The BRS Party’s legal cell challenged these unlawful actions before the Hon’ble High Court. Delivering its verdict, Justice Tukaram not only struck down all three cases but also issued stern warnings against curtailing free speech. The Court categorically directed the state police to ensure that such abuse of law is not repeated in the future. Welcoming the verdict, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) described it as a “resounding slap on the face of the Congress government,” which has consistently harassed BRS leaders, cadre, and social media activists for the past 21 months by filing frivolous and politically motivated cases. KTR further appealed to the Telangana DGP and the Director of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau to immediately stop targeting BRS supporters and social media warriors. He assured that the BRS Party would always stand firmly by its workers and protect those fighting to bring back KCR’s leadership. Importantly, the High Court has laid down binding guidelines for handling speech and social media-related complaints, marking a watershed in safeguarding free speech👇 👉 Verify locus standi: Police must ensure the complainant is the aggrieved person; third-party complaints in defamation are not maintainable. 👉 Preliminary inquiry required: FIRs in speech-related offences cannot be registered without verifying statutory ingredients. 👉 High threshold for speech cases: No FIR under provisions such as “promotion of enmity, insult, public mischief, sedition” unless there is clear incitement to violence or disorder. 👉 Protection of political speech: Offensive or harsh political criticism cannot be criminalised unless it directly incites violence or poses imminent threat to public order. 👉 Defamation procedure: Being a non-cognizable offence, defamation cannot lead to direct FIRs; complainants must approach a Magistrate. 👉 Arrest guidelines: Police must follow Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar principles—no mechanical arrests; proportionality is mandatory. 👉 Prior legal scrutiny: In sensitive political speech cases, legal opinion from the Public Prosecutor must be obtained before filing an FIR. 👉 Reject frivolous complaints: Politically motivated or vexatious complaints must be closed under Sec. 176(1) BNSS for lack of grounds. Calling the judgment a watershed moment, KTR urged the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government to respect these guidelines and immediately put an end to the harassment of BRS leaders, activists, and ordinary citizens exercising their democratic right to free speech.

న్యాయం కోసం జరిగే పోరాటం ఎప్పుడూ అందరికీ ఒకేలా ఉండదు. ఒక 17 ఏళ్ల అమ్మాయి, వాళ్ల సాధారణ మధ్యతరగతి కుటుంబం.. ఏకంగా వందల కోట్ల పాలిటిక్స్‌ను ఢీకొడితే పరిస్థితి ఎంత దారుణంగా ఉంటుందో చెప్పడానికి ఈ ఘటనే సజీవ సాక్ష్యం. నిందితుడు సాక్షాత్తూ కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి కొడుకు బండి సాయి భగీరథ్. ఈ పవర్ ఫుల్ సిస్టమ్‌లో ఆ కుటుంబం న్యాయం కోసం వెళ్ళడమే ఒక పీడకలగా మారింది. ఫిర్యాదు చేయడానికి వెళ్లిన ఆ బాధిత కుటుంబాన్ని పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌లో ఐదు గంటలు వెయిట్ చేయించారు. కేంద్రంలో అధికార బీజేపీలో నిందితుడి తండ్రికున్న పవర్, ఇటు రాష్ట్ర కాంగ్రెస్ ముఖ్యమంత్రితో ఆయనకున్న స్నేహం ముందు స్థానిక పోలీసులు పూర్తిగా చేతులెత్తేశారు. మరోవైపు నిందితుడి బ్యాచ్ దారుణమైన కుట్రకు తెరతీసింది. పాప తల్లిదండ్రులే ఐదు కోట్లు అడుగుతున్నారని ముందస్తుగా కరీంనగర్‌లో ఒక ఫేక్ ఎఫ్ఐఆర్ బనాయించింది. పెయిడ్ ఐటీ సెల్స్, అమ్ముడుపోయిన యూట్యూబ్ ఛానెళ్లు రంగంలోకి దిగి, ఆ చిన్నారి క్యారెక్టర్‌ను బద్నాం చేస్తూ ఫేక్ స్టోరీలు అల్లాయి. మహిళా భద్రత గురించి మాట్లాడే రెండు పార్టీల నేతలు కూడా ఆ పాప కంటే రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాలే ముఖ్యమనుకుని సైలెంట్ అయ్యారు. అన్ని దారులు మూసుకుపోయి, ఆ కుటుంబం సామాజికంగా బద్నాం అవుతున్న ఆ చీకటి సమయంలో బీఆర్ఎస్ నేత, మాజీ ఐపీఎస్ ఆర్ఎస్ ప్రవీణ్ కుమార్ (RSP) రంగంలోకి దిగారు. ఆయన కేవలం మాటలు చెప్పలేదు; తన పోలీసు బుర్రకు పదునుపెట్టి పక్కా లాజిక్స్‌తో, టైమ్‌లైన్ విశ్లేషణతో ఆ బ్లాక్ మెయిల్ స్టోరీని ముక్కలు చేశారు. కాల్ డేటా ఆధారాలతో వాళ్ళు ఆడిన ఫేక్ నాటకాన్ని మీడియా ముందు కుండబద్దలు కొట్టారు. "అర్ధరాత్రి పూట రాజకీయ విమర్శకులను అరెస్ట్ చేసే పోలీసులు, ఒక ఆడపిల్ల మీద అత్యాచారం చేసిన మంత్రి కొడుకు తొమ్మిది రోజులైనా దర్జాగా తిరుగుతుంటే ఎందుకు పట్టుకోరు?" అని హోం శాఖ చూస్తున్న సీఎంనే నేరుగా నిలదీశారు. నిజానికి ఇప్పుడున్న పాలిటిక్స్‌లో డబ్బుకో, బెదిరింపులకో అమ్ముడుపోవడం చాలా కామన్. ఆర్ఎస్పీ స్థానంలో ఇంకెవరున్నా.. ఆ వందల కోట్ల ఆఫర్లకో, రెండు అధికార పార్టీల ఒత్తిడికో తలొగ్గి ఈపాటికి ఈ కేసును పక్కదారి పట్టించేసి సైలెంట్ అయిపోయేవారు. ఆ చిన్నారికి జరిగిన అన్యాయం ఎవరికీ తెలియకుండా కాలగర్భంలో కలిసిపోయేది. ఆ అభాగ్య కుటుంబం అవమానం భరించలేక ఊరు విడిచే పరిస్థితి వచ్చేది. కానీ, డబ్బుకు, పవర్‌కు తలొగ్గని ఆర్ఎస్పీ లాంటి నిజాయితీపరుడైన నాయకుడు ఒక బండరాయిలా అడ్డు నిలబడ్డాడు కాబట్టే.. ఈ రోజు మంత్రి కొడుకు అయినా సరే అరెస్టయి జైలుకెళ్లాడు. దమ్మున్న నాయకుడు తోడుంటే.. ఎంతుటి రెండు పార్టీల రాజకీయ కుట్రలైనా, కోట్ల రూపాయల పెయిడ్ పీఆర్ స్ట్రాటజీలైనా సరే నిజాన్ని ఎప్పటికీ చెరిపేయలేవని ఈ ఘటన గట్టిగా నిరూపించింది. @RSPraveenSwaero

Took personal initiative to include Karimnagar, expedite the DPR, and personally presented the vision to Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji and Hon’ble Union Minister Shri @mlkhattar Ji to ensure Karimnagar’s inclusion. Following the Apex Committee meeting and the subsequent field visit by central officials, the final approval has been granted. These projects will completely modernize our cities.
