Nearly 3 years after being proposed, the planned 5 story, 100 unit building at 1225 S Indiana Ave in South Loop appears to be moving forward
Building permits were submitted for it today.
It will replace a grass lot. Should be taller/denser but better than nothing I guess.

Public Meeting tomorrow, 6:30 at Emanual Congregation in Edgewater regarding their plans to redevelop their own land. Local NIMBY groups are already rallying to try and cap it at 5 stories, despite being surrounded by transit links and other high rises. YIMBYs roll through
