Great time celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I even managed to find a bar showing #wwfc win on Monday night. Look forward to the silver anniversary!
@wolvespremier@WolvesFirst@Fosun_Intl Mate - club is always for sale, you need someone to buy it & obviously no interest in it. And why would there be? Football clubs not that appealing these days due to PSR etc. have they mismanaged? Yes. Are we at risk like #swfc? No.
Relegation will be confirmed at 7:30pm this evening I’ve no doubt.
What I do know is this has been a managed decline over the past three years and this day was a long time in the making.
We can blame managers etc - but it’s ALL on our custodians @Fosun_Intl
Selling our best players year on year replacing them with inadequate alternatives - selling our captain four seasons running - this season though we haven’t even got a recognised captain to sell!
The Nathan Shi appointment is all smoke and mirrors and was a deliberate ploy to take the pressure off Fosun and now that will hopefully backfire very quickly - it’s the owners that need to be on the firing line.
The sooner these charlatans are out of our club and sell up the better. They wouldn’t run any of their other businesses this way but deem it fit to run Wolverhampton Wanderers with such negligence.
FOSUN do the right thing - get out of our club - stop the rot and make the sale to someone who understands the importance of running a football club the right way and wants to rebuild not regress.
It’s our club - not your vanity project.
@Bulk0006 Partly does. Players who he would’ve classed as squad players/not needed to sign are playing because players signed in the summer aren’t good enough. Secondly, Wilder has guided us to safety with a brief dalliance with a play off push and now the season is done so 🩴 are out.
Cannon is absolutely atrocious. Non negotiables of every game is Brooks and Seriki starting. What a pathetic set of complete bottle jobs/non triers that PE teacher compiled. Most I’ve disliked a Sheffield United squad and by some distance.
@Bulk0006 From what I was told, Souza and Anel would’ve done another year. We wanted a couple of defensive reinforcements and Wilder was happy to go again. There’s also I reckon £80-100k a week consistently sat in the stands. (Mee, Matos and Ings) that would’ve been used more wisely.
With the season just around the corner, we’ve been getting pre season thoughts from our captains and players on what should be an exciting year for the club.
Today we hear from 3rd team skipper, Mark Hickman, as the 3rds gear up for life back in Division 2.
Calling all players, supporters, families, and friends!
We’re raising funds to refurbish the top pitch pavilion and install hybrid pitches at Abbeydale to make sure our facilities can serve the club and the local cricket community for years to come.

Remembering the time Ron Atkinson managed his Sheff Wed side AND commentated for Sky in the same ZDS Cup match.
First half he’s next to Peter Brackley on the gantry, then he takes his mic down to the dugout for the second.
Remarkable stuff from Big Ron.

Prime Wolves were something else.
In 2018, they were promoted at first attempt from the Championship. In the following season in the Prem, they went on to beat Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd - as well as drawing with Man City and Arsenal. A total of 13 points taken from the top six clubs.
They finished 7th in the Premier League table and reached the FA Cup semi-final.
@wolvesbradders@stu_polak82 To be fair: he cost £500k at a time we were not flush with cash & that was a lot to spend!
(But agree with original point. Worst footballer I’ve ever seen in old gold)
