Almost everything this PM says now requires a community note. The electricity price cap is not coming down because the government has managed to produce electricity more cheaply. It’s still the most expensive in the world — and forecast to become even more expensive. The cap is reduced because the government has taken £117-worth of largely green subsidies from fuel your bills and put them on to general taxation. You’re still paying for them — just in a different way. And as your taxes go up to meet these green levies the cap is still £73 higher than when Labour came to power. So your energy bills are not coming down — though Labour promised they would — and the overall tax burden is at a record high. There PM. Sorted it for you.

If you start trading today: 2 weeks — this is easy 1 month — this is harder than I thought 3 months — taking losses, feeling stuck 6 months — questioning everything 1 year — things start making sense 2 years — glad I didn’t quit 3 years — people ask how you did it

I’ve heavily invested in high beta names like NVDA, PLTR, IREN, IONQ, BKKT, OKLO, BE, CIFR and also have BTC. After the recent drop I’m trying to convince myself this price drop was a good thing and excess leverage has been removed and we are just forming a new low on the way higher. It’s hard not to have your confidence shaken. @mikealfred are you still confident in the thesis? Do we just need to be patient?

I got into trading for 2 reasons •To make money from it (of course) •To prove to myself that I could do it When I got interested in trading, I heard so many people saying that it was one of the hardest things you can do THAT is a major reason for why I wanted to do it I knew that if I could make trading work, then I could do anything

After years of obsessing about where to enter trades and studying everything I could find, I've realised that where you enter is one of the least important things. Ultimately, price is random and no one can predict where it will go. What matters more: 1. Holding winners longer 2. Cutting losers faster 3. Adding to winners 4. Making sure no single loss is bigger than average win 5. Mental strength 6. Getting good sleep. What do you all think matters more?

@rebeccaatrades You seem to really have cracked trading and are doing really well. How long has it taken for you to get to this stage and what would you say has made the difference?

It's amazing how much difference a few % make. I've been playing with the compound growth calculator and my account is $18,000 now so If i make: 1. 10% a month and pay myself 30% of profits in 2 years I can have $205k and paid myself $85k 2. 15% a month and pay myself 30% of profits in 2 years I can have $655k and paid myself $273k 3. 17% a month and I get to $1,000,000 and paid myself $434k. Thats my target

Posting this so I can remember my follower count in future. I just got verified last week and my blue tickmark was added yesterday so early days I've had 9.5k impressions in the last 3 months and i need 5 million to get paid. Follow me and help me get there

@cryptomanran I’m still holding my btc for now but have started to sell a bit each month to pay off debt and invest in AI stocks which are going up much faster.

The difference between this bear market and all the others is that in the last bear markets people were still curious and interested in Bitcoin and crypto! Even though prices were low , people still asked about the asset and whether it’s time to buy. This time is different. The curiosity is gone…
