I don’t want to get too ahead of myself with the 2026 Raiders.. and I don’t think anyone should before they see the product in action, either.. but I will say this: LV’s 2026 offseason is totality is truly one of the biggest leaps in the right direction I have ever seen a football team take. - Landed the [most widely regarded] top head coach in this year’s cycle, who was seen as the top head coach this cycle back in 2025 looking ahead (who helped lead his team to a Super Bowl victory in the meantime) - Well qualified coordinators across the board - Prioritized getting a ‘quarterback of the OL’ by signing a center who’s too talented and youthful to even be a free agent in the first place - Strong signings of talented players with age & deals all structured to showcase a clear direction with a lined-up timeline Quick interjection: When is the last time a Raiders team even showed a real vision and direction of any kind? I couldn’t even tell you.. - 1st-overall pick - Most top-150 selections in April’s draft Don’t misunderstand — i’m not saying things are going to be great. Who knows, right? New coaches across the board. Lots of new key players via free agency. New rookie QB. Lots of moving parts. That’s a challenge to overcome in itself. But what I am saying is, the Raiders haven’t put together a product with this much promise in a long while thanks to such a ridiculous leap in the right direction.

All I ever said was the Raiders were interested in Jesse Minter. Which they were. I don’t hate Gruden. I just get Gruden questions all the time and I genuinely don’t understand why fans want him back. Kubiak has been my #1 candidate far before Pete Carroll was fired. I’m a Raiders fan now and I’d do anything for Raider Nation.

Stability and continuity to maximize the QB talent. C.J. Stroud is on his 2nd OC right now. The offense has been OK in the last 2 years. Jayden Daniels is about to get his 2nd OC after Kingsbury and HC Dan Quinn reportedly had a rift over the offense. Maye’s situation is the outlier of the 3 because Josh McDaniels probably isn’t getting another HC after his disastrous 2nd HC opp with the Raiders, he’s a Patriots lifer. If you hit on offensive HC, you don’t have to worry about HC/OC play-caller disagreements, they’re the same person, and you don’t have to worry about him leaving for an HC gig every 1-2 years.

The #Raiders beat the Patriots in New England in Week 1. They are 1-13 since #RaiderNation There's a lot of talk about what the franchise needs to do with Pete Carroll. The reality is, the best thing for this franchise is to stay the course and see things through with Pete Carroll. Tom Brady and the new ownership group can't come in and do the same things that the franchise has been doing for the last 25 years. Impatience with Coaching staffs, bad drafting, poor free agent decisions and lack of developing players has kept this franchise at the bottom. Firing Carroll after one year wouldn't be anything different. Just another one and done. Let these guys figure it out. Keep building the roster. This is a long term play, not a short term play. At the very least this team needs to keep Spytek.

@MitchellRenz365 @HondoCarpenter 1000% yes. There are no real hot shot, can’t miss, up and coming HC candidates this year. Also much better to have an offensive HC than defensive so we don’t just lose our OC every year if we have a good offense.
