@Savy2Smooth There are parallels between Dailyn and Dalen. If Dalen stayed at Arizona his 3rd yr he's playing on a less stacked team and putting up numbers likely similar to Dailyn. Hope things turn around for both players.

I don’t give up on rookies through their rookie season. But in 2 summer league games Dailyn Swain is giving Dalen Terry and Chandler Hutchison. I say this as a Bulls fan who’s patience has been zapped by Patrick Williams lol smh

A lot of Bulls fans are going to be furious when PWill, Tre Jones & Okoro get more minutes than Essengue, Swain, Miller & Dillingham.

@ChiSportsGuy8 Solid observations. Hope Swain doesn't let this affect him. But we also have to be real and adjust out thinking. The guys coming from college are now paid a significant amount of 💰. Grace is going to be shortened because of that.

Caleb Wilson came alive in the 4th, left a lot of points out there with missed free throws though. Not a huge concern, I'm sure this pushes him to improve in that area. Noa Essengue has been extremely active defensively I love to see it, even if there hasn't been much offensively Dailyn Swain has been tough to watch, I'll leave it there. Don't wanna beat the kid down.

People may think Summer League & the G league is trash but it’s another level than College ball. Competition is more even, more athletic, higher iq, & guys are hungry fighting for careers and roster spots. It’s different when you’re going against men fighting for their NBA lives. He’s going through a real adjustment period. Just had to get out of his head.

The #BULLS lacking a true pg on this #SUNMERLEAGUE roster is perplexing. Rob Dillingham could’ve helped a lot in that Rolex. On one hand I respect trying to get Swain & Wilson involved in initiating offense or bringing the ball up the floor but there’s no true playmaking threat that can break down the defense & create opportunities for guys who can’t consistently get their shots & the offensive movement so far these past two days is clunky. It’s just Summer League & Splitter was hired less than a month ago so hopefully training camp brings some role clarity & development for those young guys in this system & by pre season we see better results from guys like Noa Essengue & Dailyn Swain. 👀🔴 #SEERED #BULLSNATION

It's still only two SL games and we have to wait until the regular season until we fully evaluate him as a player and his potential, obviously But imo, you're supposed to show flashes of your best traits in SL. Swain has struggled to show that so far

I'm gonna preface this post by saying I'm aware it's summer league and if u want to call this an overreaction, sure. But what really concerns me about Swain's performance through these two games is his lack of finishing at the rim. That was his big attribute when drafted

The amount of people forming serious opinions from Summer League basketball is ludicrous. There has never, ever, EVER been correlation between Summer League production - whether it's good or bad - and what happens in the actual NBA. I can literally talk for 20 minutes about the vast amount of differences that make trying to draw conclusions an extremely irresponsible practice. Summer League is purely entertainment. That is it. It is not serious, and it never has been. I'm disappointed by how many people are taking it so seriously.

@CalebFC18 It's not an overreaction. It's been bad. It's curious giving Swain these looks early in a role he's not likely to see during the yr. Ex: Cooper Flagg played some point early in the yr getting him more looks on ball making decision. The role expanded during the yr.

Dailyn Swain looks really bad. Trying really hard not to overreact after 1.5 summer league games but this is REALLY bad.

One thing is crystal clear to me. That 15th roster spot on the Bulls roster better go to a guard, preferably one that can play the point if need be and shoot from three.

@cbefred Off guard isn’t a good option when you can’t shoot.

Sending this team to Vegas without a true point guard may not have been the best idea. I don’t think it’s helping Swain’s development. Hard to believe they’re starting him at PG again. Hopefully he’ll get a chance to play off guard in the 2nd half.

@binoysamthomas Why would any team be giving up premium draft picks for Powell or Claxton? Ayo and Coby were younger and barely got 2nds. Claxton was acquired by the Bulls for no draft consideration. Teams usually trade value for players on tms in contention. Is that the Bulls this yr?

@BullsLead Norman Powell can be traded before the end of the season or during the second year for quality draft picks. It's not like the deals that AKME gave to Patrick Williams and others

@binoysamthomas That could be true. But we also did sign a 33 yr old sg and an underperforming center that tied up a good chunk of our cap. And they will be playing no matter what.

@BullsLead Simple answer is we need the younger players who the new management drafted to play as much as possible and make as many mistakes as possible and learn from it, that's the only logic
