@BullsSource Well I doubt Tiago will hand out minutes to players who don’t deserve it. And any good coach is gonna go in fresh. He hasn’t established a rotation yet. PWill could easily outplay the others in camp & preseason & earn Tiago’s minutes. Don’t you think?

@TheNBAIndex Why does Patrick Williams deserve playing time? He shot 37% FG last season averaging 3 RPG. Instead of entering his prime, he has regressed the past 2 seasons. The other 6 bigman above are better players.

@Nbafanatic2391 There are only 96 mpg available from the 2 forward spots. And Matas & Caleb are probably getting 60ish of those. That leaves 36 mpg for PWill, Miller, Okoro, Essengue, Swain, and whatever Jalen Smith gets at PF.

@TheNBAIndex I understand Tre and Issac getting more minutes but Pat? Miller has shown already he is better than Pat. If Tiago didnt like Noas effort yesterday he will loath Pat.

A lot of Bulls fans are going to be furious when PWill, Tre Jones & Okoro get more minutes than Essengue, Swain, Miller & Dillingham.

I have 2 beliefs: 1. Young players can, and often do, develop when they’re able to sit, watch & learn. More Playing Time does not necessarily equate to faster/better development. 2. It’s often better for both the team AND the individual players when they’re required to earn their playing time, and it’s not just handed to them. Point being, regardless of if it’s PWill or Miller or Noa - may the best player earn the most minutes.

@FuriousStyles92 We know he can play, yes. But there are 96 minutes per game between the two forward spots. We know ~60mpg will go to Matas & Caleb. That leaves 36 mpg to be split between PWill, Swain, Okoro, Miller & any minutes Jalen Smith gets at PF.

@TheNBAIndex I think Miller is going to get minutes. If he doesn't, we're gonna have to start having conversations about Tiago bc WE KNOW he can play

@FirstTake @VinceGoodwill Goodwill is 100% right. Wemby is actively hurting his fellow players by letting greedy billionaires off the hook. This sets a terrible precedent for the league.

@FirstTake @VinceGoodwill Tim Duncan took so many pay cuts to keep Tony & Manu. Manu & Tony even took pay cuts to bring in more depth. This is Spurs culture. Of course mainstream sports media wouldn’t pay attention to that

Visited Chicago for a few days and had a great time. Was hoping to write a tweet about how safe it is and how its reputation is undeserved. Then on the walk home on the final night, River North area from Mom’s Place around 2:30am, a black guy rapidly approached my friend and I asking about subway directions. I figured something was up since I assume the subway doesn’t run at that hour. As we walked faster, we saw two other guys at the corner staring at us, probably accomplices. “Be prepared to run,” my friend said. We must have walked faster enough, or maybe we misread the situation, but I won’t go around saying “Chicago is so safe!” Rather, be vigilant and you’ll have a good time. Still love the city.

The Warren Commission conducted its investigation into the JFK assassination in 10 months. The NBA investigation into whether it was ok for Kawhi Leonard to get $30m for doing nothing is now entering its 11th month.
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania

Developing: The Los Angeles Clippers-Toronto Raptors trade centered on Kawhi Leonard will not be complete until the NBA investigation into the Clippers is over. Statement from the Clippers to ESPN:   For the past 10 months, our organization has fully cooperated with an NBA investigation, participating in dozens of interviews, providing tens of thousands of documents, and facilitating access to our staff. While the process has been challenging, we have remained committed to transparency.   On June 30, we reached an agreement in principle to trade Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors. We have since been informed that the trade can only be finalized if the Raptors' ownership group assumes the risk of penalties related to Kawhi’s contract that could theoretically result from the ongoing investigation.  The investigation is ongoing, and we expect the trade to be finalized following its conclusion.   At the heart of this investigation are Joe Sanberg and Aspiration. We did not funnel money to Kawhi Leonard through Aspiration. Like many sophisticated investors, financial institutions, and business partners, we were victims of a fraud initiated by Sanberg, who has been convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison.     We recognize the uncertainty this has created and the impact it has had on our team, our fans, the Raptors organization, their fans, and the players whose futures remain affected while this process continues.   We remain confident that, when the facts are evaluated fairly and thoroughly, the NBA will confirm exactly what we have said from the beginning: We have not done what we are accused of doing.
