This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60. SSG Alan W. Shaw Section 60, Grave 8451 B Co 1/12 Cav, 1st Cavalry Division November 10, 1975 - February 9, 2007 There’s just something about knowing people still stop by, still say his name, still remember. 🇺🇸⭐🇺🇸

I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but two gloves and iron head covers makes it impossible to root for Aaron Rai.

.@JLEWFifty @drosssports Dudes! You need new pop culture references or just stop doing them. The redundancy is bothersome. I can’t be the only one that feels this way.

My dad has never made a golf bet in his life, but today decided to dive into the deep end with a Rickie Fowler investment. This is definitely going to end well. (Also, no idea why he writes 500.00 like he’s running a Nigerian prince scam.)

@NotTheeWillHill Not rigged. Impossible for people in that industry to keep that secret. Additionally, there were definitely better options to rig it.

The “3rd Base” bit is the dumbest thing ever. Ryan Day spent years grinding as an assistant all over the country. Because of his hard work and acumen, the greatest coach in history targeted him as the best candidate for the most coveted OC position in the country. When he arrived, his offenses torched everyone in sight. Which, in turn, made him the GOAT’s handpicked choice to succeed him on the throne. Ryan Day earned his chance to be groomed by Urban Meyer at Ohio State. Ryan Day vindicated the faith Meyer had in him. The guy was raised by a single mother, and had zero connections in the sport. He clawed his way to the top and earned every inch. Jim Harbaugh, ironically, was the son of a beloved coach with connections all over the sport. Ryan Day got his first coaching job by sleeping on a cot in the facility of a D-II school. Jim Harbaugh got his first coaching job because his dad hired him. Ryan Day lost his father at age 8. Jim Harbaugh was employed by his father at age 38. If we’re doing the stupid “3rd base” thing, who better fits the label? And if it’s so easy inheriting a successful program, why does Ryan Day have the greatest winning percentage of all time while Sherrone Moore went 7-5 (and easily could have gone 3-9)? Why did Alabama miss a 12-team playoff field after Saban left? Why did USC tank when Pete Carroll bailed? If wildly successful coaching successions are a given, why does Ohio State seem to be the only program not to experience a drop-off when a great coach leaves? But yeah, 3rd base soft private investigator his brother is a spy lol blarg.
