@TribesBritannia Having a club foot is hard enough without having people comment on it in a public forum and laugh about it. It’s only a club foot, it’s no big deal, it’s not the end of the world and at least that’s not an attempt to hide it in trousers/leggins/long dress.
English

@angryhippie62 @TribesBritannia What on earth is the problem with someone having a club foot and not feeling the need to hide it? Body shaming is no laughing matter.

@LoubugWindsor Real pregnant women don't have to hold their baby bump in place, either.

@RevRichardColes Start on white, it’s easier and I find the secret is in a good 5 minutes kneeling. It starts off very sticky but after the knead if gets less so. Make sure your yeast is frothing and your flour warm before you start.

I’m really starting to lose respect for it all.
12 years before she becomes a full time royal and then she’ll say she has arthritis or joint problems.

@stuzi_pants Well, we have things to do and get on with. We can’t go round marvelling at the wonder,of it all, 24 hours a day, or nothing would get done.

⚠️Meghan Markle’s Relentless Grip: A Desperate Display of Control and Insecurity
⚠️Warning: The cringe level is off the charts!
Meghan Markle has turned her need for control into a public spectacle, constantly reminding both Harry—and the world—who’s really in charge. The so-called 'independent feminist' has manipulated and emasculated her husband to the point where he’s convinced he needs her, not the other way around. Every public appearance becomes a desperate display of clinging and clutching, as she makes sure no one forgets who’s pulling the strings in their ‘power couple’ dynamic.
Her inability to keep her hands to herself, especially in professional settings, shatters her claims of being independent. Instead, it highlights just how dependent she is on Harry’s status. Meghan knows her place in the spotlight is fragile at best, and she overcompensates by diminishing Harry’s shine, even at events meant to honor him. This isn’t just insecurity on display; it’s a calculated effort to keep him under her control, ensuring he never thinks for himself or steals the spotlight.
Her opportunistic tendencies have earned her quite the reputation. Meghan clings onto anyone she can use to her advantage, and this has become well-known in Hollywood circles. It’s one of the many reasons no one’s calling her for collaborations, scripts, or deals. Designers avoid her, and she’s seen as difficult, selfish, and entitled, all while believing she’s far more important than she really is—just because she managed to convince a clueless prince to marry her.
The truth is, her constant need to cling to Harry—both literally and figuratively—reveals her desperation to stay relevant. Without Harry, there’s no royal status, no spotlight, and certainly no fortune to fall back on. Her every touch is a reminder that she’s not just grasping for love; she’s securing her bank account. Her ‘affection’ is nothing more than a thinly veiled tactic to keep Harry in line, making sure he doesn’t wander off or—heaven forbid—get influenced by anyone else.
So, the next time you see her awkwardly draping herself over Harry or invading the personal space of others, know that it’s not just bad manners—it’s her way to try and hold onto what she craves the most: fame. Meghan’s fame is tied to Harry and is because of Harry, and her grip on him is as much about control as it is about holding onto her only shot at staying relevant.
A hand on Harry? That’s not love—it’s a desperate move to keep her lottery ticket firmly in hand. And trust me, it’s as transparent as her PR stunts. Enjoy this montage of Meghan's cringe-worthy, over-the-top attempts to hold onto relevance—one awkward grasp at a time. The more she clings, the more obvious it becomes: without Harry, she’s got nothing.

@fesshole There’s a bloke in our back lane, let’s his massive Labrador’s poo where it wants. When I spot one I always put it in a poo bag and hang it on his back door knob. I feel he should have the fruit of his dogs labours.

@SuburbanDuchess It might have been a nice idea for him to to be sat next to her on the bench, supporting her, in what must have been a very hard speech to make and showing a United front to the world.

We've seen Prince William carrying out many royal appointments since his father fell ill to cancer, and we've seen William carrying numerous royal engagements after Catherine was diagnosed post-surgery with cancer.
William has held steady. He hasn't broken down in public, he hasn't told the media that nobody is asking if he is okay. William has plenty of intelligence, so he knows when to show up and when to back out of any engagements.
What the world needs to do is to trust this loyal man. It's deplorable people claiming he is work shy. If those who cast stones at William's work ethic had lost a mother at a young age, had a father with cancer and a spouse/partner with cancer and had three very real little children, would they go about work as usual and with a happy countenance? I sincerely doubt it.
They would ask for mercy, kindness and grace in the face of these burdens. Therefore I think it's fair to ask the whole world to stop placing William and Catherine under a microscope.
The monarchy isn't falling apart. Queen Elizabeth II carried on with immense dignity after her dear husband, 'her stay and her strength' was failing and died. She kept going in the face of her mortality. This is what royalty does.
Prince William took a master class in how to behave no matter what is thrown in his path. When Diana died, he walked behind her coffin, even though it was one of the most difficult things he has ever done. William hasn't gone on and on about wanting pity. He hasn't taken to boozing it up and getting high on drugs to deal with his misfortune after Diana was gone.
William is a man full of dignity, grace, honor, steadfast love and loyalty, and he does serve the public well. We never suspected his wife was diagnosed with cancer. We simply thought she had a surgery.
The monarchy isn't going to be handed to two people living in California. They aren't loyal, kind, full of public service in the face of great difficulties. They possess no measure of grace or decorum, they have nothing to offer the people of the UK except meaningless words.
The monarchy has persisted for over 1000 years. King Charles and Queen Camilla still carry out functions. And Prince William certainly is carrying on in spite of the load he must bear. What's the saying? "Keep calm and carry on"? Indeed the real royals are doing just that.
imo only. thx...

@SpiderWeb8eyes @MarinaPurkiss But they’re not giving us stability. Camilla’s on holiday, Edward needs a rest, Andrew’s lot are non starters and Kate has been two months recovering from “whatever”. She’s going to have to be a lot tougher than that, when she’s older, if she wants to be consort.
English

@MarinaPurkiss I disagree Marina, the monarchy = stability and that’s a price worth paying. They’re not perfect but who is.
