Billionaires cause poverty, they don’t fix it. The money supply is infinite but so is the possibility of obscene wealth in a system that permits billionaires. They aren’t a benefit, they’re a cancerous symptom of exclusion and extraction, of appropriation and exploitation.

Three cheers for that audience member. And deft moderation by @StephenJardine. “So wait a minute… we pay the supermarkets to lower their prices… is that what you’re suggesting?” An unusually entertaining and illuminating 90 seconds from last week’s #bbcdn

QMUL SOVEREIGNTY POLLING THREAD In August '25 YouGov polled over 4,500 GB adults on the topic of national sovereignty. It found that, in 20 areas either fully or partially in the remit of the EU before Brexit, British voters wanted the UK Government *alone* to be in control.

@rohbo1 This was Times Square in New York City on October 8 - check out the signs. The genocide libel was pre-planned. At this stage, Israel was still chasing Hamas terrorists around the kibbutzim and had not even counted or buried its dead.

FDR’s 1936 acceptance speech is truly masterful. He denounced economic royalists, linked the preservation of democracy to economic justice, and summoned people to a rendezvous with destiny. Why can’t Democrats speak like this today?
