@LavenderLovetap Is this ragebait? You do know temperatures of components can't be controlled by gsme developers, right? if a game is demanding and the cooling isn't sufficient (laptops like these have horrible cooling) it's going to overheat. Shouldn't be doing this though.

@LavenderLovetap @am_trying_help @Minecraft @Microsoft because disc drives are mostly obsolete? I love physical media but nobody wants a huge ass drive that they have to fit into their laptop chassis, come on. If you need it so badly you have external drives.

@am_trying_help @Minecraft @Microsoft its not about being "edgy and different" i use old technology because it arguably has more functionality than most modern technology. for example, laptops no longer come with disc drives built in, and phones dont have SD card slots or audio ports.

@_Abehere @kbynight0 @Wario64 just added context; the game has been out for a year now, it's just the dlc that is new and is locked behind this version for a tiny bit it seems, which sucks but i'm glad it's coming either way. seems like the dlc launching on steam is to coincide with the console game launch.

@kbynight0 @Wario64 I do find it strange as well, but seeing the Dev had started on web development and app development (alongside the game being not that demanding), I guess they found it a good fit to be the game that launches the platform and prove the concept to be viable.
