Our actions matter. Proud of my boys, who cycle everyday, plant trees, water them regularly, clean up public places, and feed insects to help grow nature. @nishatriaz Morphine/short acting narcotics are not easily available in Pakistan in hospitals for pain relief of post-operative/palliative patients,but no restriction on these products by drug/product regulation authorities- says alot about preferences and sense of responsibilty.

Things that make me sad. Seeing vape consumption, over counters and massive growth of shops across Pakistan. Over 60% of 220 million Pakistan is young, under the age of 30. These young people are either a demographic dividend or a disaster depending on what offer them. A country already sinking, how could we even think of turning the only hope into addicts. Please help save our present and future.

In the 6th century BC in ancient China, the Duke of Qi just sentenced someone to death for losing his favorite bird... His wise chief minister, Yang Yin, wanted to intervene, but without offending his powerful boss. So he devised a clever ruse... The crime the bird caretaker, Zhu Zou, committed wasn't punishable by death, according to Qi's laws. However, you can't just say that to Duke. So Yang Yin goes to the Duke and humbly suggests to him... "Your Majesty, Zhu Zou committed three crimes. Please may I recite them to his face so that he understands the reason he is going to die?" The Duke agreed... His guards went and brought Zhu Zou to the palace, before the Duke. Yan Ying knelt down and began to denounce Zhu Zou: 1. "You were asked to care for Your Majesty’s birds, but yet you let one escape. This is your first crime." 2. "Because of one bird, you angered Your Majesty. This is your second crime." 3. "Once the other six kingdoms hear about this, they will think of our majesty as being unreasonable for valuing birds over men. This is your third crime." He then turned to the Duke, "Your Majesty, he may be killed now". "No need to kill him anymore", the Duke responded. "I have understood the words of wisdom." He got up from his seat and untied the prisoner by himself. Lesson: When you are not the top dog, it might not be possible to correct or rebuke your superior without triggering his displeasure. However, all is not lost... You can still lead and influence decision-making from your position by being respectful, but finding subtle ways to express your views.
