JAPAN: Thousands gathered to protest the construction of the first mosque in Fujisawa. The proposed mosque would be much larger than the nearby Shinto shrine, an act of provocation.
“We don’t want a single mosque, or Muslim cemetery here!”
@Hesamation We get thousands of fake and scammy applicants, the false negative rate is not a concern as much as the false positive candidates, I’m not an HR, this is just how things are done in this day and age
bro created an AI job search system for Claude Code that scored 700+ job applications and actually got him a job.
AND IT'S NOW OPEN-SOURCE.
It scans multiple company career pages, rewrites your CV per job, and even fills application forms. The repo has:
> 14 skill modes (evaluate, scan, PDF, ...)
> Go terminal dashboard
> ATS-optimized PDF generation via Playwright
> 45+ companies pre-configured (Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Stripe...)

YC and Delve have parted ways.
I still remember the day we took our YC interview at MIT.
We’re so grateful to the community and every founder friend we’ve made.
We'll continue to support every young founder striving to make the world a better place.
Sam Altman predicted in 2024 that a one-person billion-dollar company "would have been unimaginable without A.I., and now it will happen."
He just emailed the NYT saying he won a bet with tech CEO friends over when it would arrive, and that he "would like to meet the guy."
The guy: Matthew Gallagher, 41. Spent $20K and two months building a GLP-1 weight-loss telehealth company out of his living room in LA.
The stack: ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok writing code. Midjourney for images. Runway for video ads. ElevenLabs handling customer calls. Custom AI agents stitching it all together.
$401M revenue in year one. On track for $1.8B this year.
Working now is nowhere near as much fun as it used to be. We had a work hard/play hard life, huge social lives, long lunches, wine bars and sports after work. Corporate entertainment was a huge bonus, travelling the world business or first class, charging everything to expenses. Fast forward to now. Eat lunch at desk, work from home with no social interaction. Can’t laugh or joke without someone being offended. Zero corporate entertainment with client lunches capped. Travel net zero on cheapest route. Houses unaffordable, eating out extortionate. Take me back in time any day of the week
@SeijinJung Is the ad content generation similar to that of Pomelli? When it comes to AI videos, with Sora discontinuing, the best one is probably Seedance 2.0. All AI video generators struggle when it comes to a lot of text, and still errors on small text here and there.

Twitch continues to deteriorate as a platform because what do you mean I can't TAB OUT TO MY SECOND MONITOR DURING THE AD BREAK
I NEED TO FOCUS THE TAB AND THE WINDOW FOR THE AD TO PLAY??????
@TwitchSupport@Twitch what the actual fuck is wrong with you
yesterday, we launched our new AI caretaker for seniors.
here's how it went:
we went viral and shattered our sales record.
but more importantly...
so many families reached out with stories about their own parents.
aging in place. struggling with dementia. not being able to afford proper care or be there all the time.
eldercare is one of humanity’s biggest problems. and not enough people are working on it.
we see a huge unmet need in seniors living independently.
nursing homes don’t have to be the only solution. seniors deserve dignity and support, while staying connected to their families.
that’s why we’re going to make personalized, intelligent care a reality.
i've never been more excited for the company's future.
this started as a personal project for my grandparents: i just wanted to build something to keep them safe.
but this has grown into something much bigger.
by 2030, 1.4 billion people will be seniors. and the world is not ready for the aging demographic shift. the infrastructure simply doesn't exist.
this is a trillion $ problem that not enough people are talking about.
we are creating that infrastructure layer, starting with a voice assistant for seniors.
this is a bet on the future of our society.
time to get back to building and shipping. i can't wait to see what comes next!
