@IceyyXOO Been working on a game, these are some of the stats before we stopped ads to work on an update. (Also has a 2.9% cvr but for some reason i can only attach one pic). Open to working together if you throw in some extra value other than just money on how to improve the game overall

@sodiq_femii Why was the goal against Portugal disallowed?

Colombia legitimately had a goal disallowed against Portugal. Croatia had three goals disallowed against same Portugal, with Modric even coming out to say they were robbed. No one batted an eye. Suddenly, Messi is the bad guy in all of this.

@PedTalksSports You’re lying to yourself. In 2010 Sneijder had 5 goals 1 assist in the WC. He was a finalist, and also won the Serie A, UCL, and the Italian domestic trophy.

@justaguy0507 @IamAsimm7 “Moron” - read the rules? If it’s a slip and he intentionally grabs the ball to stop a counter, it’s always a yellow card. This isn’t even arguable

@ohhmad1 @tellingsen @Aaron_Decatur @ImNotGonnaej1 @JacobsBen Im sorry, but you’re just making things up. It’s okay to admit a referee has gotten things wrong. There is no rule that allows VAR to look at a foul and decide if there was a simulation or not other than when it’s a penalty

@ohhmad1 @tellingsen @Aaron_Decatur @ImNotGonnaej1 @JacobsBen Yes because they’ve missed the other tens of similar offenses. How many times have we seen a player dive and get away with it scot free compared to the 2 situations we’ve had with Paraguay and Switzerland

@IamAsimm7 “He was tired and tripped on himself” 😭😭 He grabbed the ball to stop the counter attack after he fell. Even worse than simulation, should have gotten a yellow anyway

@skcc22 @TheoHenry92 @ck49mvp “… the offense FOR WHICH the card was shown was committed by another player of either team” Are you dense? Parades was not shown a yellow for simulation, Embolo was. That was not the offense. You can’t claim mistaken identity then re-referee the original offense.

@ButtersTheBot @TheoHenry92 @ck49mvp Are you deadass? The rule you’re showing literally proves my point, the offender was Paredes he got a yellow card which is why they reviewed it, if he didn’t then they couldn’t go to VAR. mistaken identity refers to the referee mistaking who actually committed the foul

@tellingsen @ohhmad1 @Aaron_Decatur @ImNotGonnaej1 @JacobsBen This ^ The rule was simply wrongly applied. A referee shouldn’t be able to make up rules on the spot. If the book clearly states that it can only be reviewed for the player’s identity then that’s the only way it can be applied.

@ohhmad1 @ButtersTheBot @Aaron_Decatur @ImNotGonnaej1 @JacobsBen No, you’re wrong. It has to be the same offence. So if it’s a tight situation and a handball happened from someone from the other team than the ref called, it would be mistaken identity, but same offence. In Embolo’s case it was wrongly applied.

@ohhmad1 @Aaron_Decatur @ImNotGonnaej1 @JacobsBen That is not mistaken identity that’s mistaken incident. Mistaken identity is only used to review the identity of the player who committed the offense. It can’t be used to review the offense itself

@Aaron_Decatur @ImNotGonnaej1 @JacobsBen Yes this is correct. Player A dives (simulates contact). * The referee thinks Player B committed a foul and books Player B. * After review, VAR determines that Player A was actually the one who committed the offence (simulation).

@darkcanuck13 @newtonburner1 @JohnMolinaro People are being ridiculous. It was a clear misuse of VAR even though the outcome was “correct”. It was not in the referee’s power to send off Embolo there and that is the real issue. If we give referees more power than what’s written in the rulebooks, where does it stop?

So, a player shouldn’t get a yellow card for an egregious dive when he is already on a caution? Is that really the argument being put forth? What else are we letting players on a yellow to get away with?

This is not true. There are 16 antennas for the ball signal under the roof. Also, the 'heartbeat of the ball', was available at all times. There is a very slight 'wave' which is the ball travelling through the air.  Plus, the cable cam footage doesn't shake or move.
⭐️⭐️@MosasamiCFC

@DaleJohnsonBBC I read that due to the height of the ball at the time it does not register the touch, is this true?

@darkcanuck13 @JohnMolinaro Card was given to Paredes and not embolo hence the mistaken identity. Idk why this is so hard to understand, you might not like it but that’s the rule. Same exact thing happened to almiron but no one was crying about that.

@skcc22 @TheoHenry92 @ck49mvp Mistaken identity does not allow VAR to overturn an incident lol. You’re telling me the referee mistook Paredes for Embolo? Who look nothing alike?

@TheoHenry92 @ck49mvp Mistaken identity is a new rule for the World Cup , Paredes got wrongly booked for it so they had to look at it, at least learn the rules before talking about it

@theoldzealand Paredes was booked, but Paredes was the one who committed the “tackle”. So was there a mistaken identity there? I don’t think so. By the laws of the game as they are written, the Referee has no right to give a second yellow there even though Embolo dived.

@theoldzealand That exact situation can ONLY happen under the “Mistaken Identity” circumstances for VAR checks. Embolo dived, it’s clear. However, did VAR see the dive and then notify the on-field referee to review it claiming “Mistake Identity”? If so, wouldn’t that be the wrong use?

The official referee consultant just said on the US broadcast: “It’s legally correct but it’s against the spirit of the game and it’s not what the rule was written with in mind” What are we even doing
