@Buymie_IRE What a disaster @buymie and @dunnesstores are. I waited 3 hrs for delivery yesterday evening. The shopper had called me for one substitution and said she was on her way. Then at 8.30pm I get a msg from buymie saying my shop was being rescheduled until 12-1 pm today. The buymie 'live chat' people then knocked off for the day. I rang Dunnes customer service which was open until 9pm. I was the next caller in line and then they cut me off. I rang the shopper. Then texted her. She said my payment had been declined. The money had left my account 6 hours earlier. Then today, a shopper turned up. Half of the items were missing but I had been charged the full amount. The best the buymie staff could do was apologise and say that they would refund me for what was missing. This will take 3 to 5 days. I'm waiting on the senior line manager to ring me for the last half an hour. I have MS. My mobility is pretty bad at the moment. I have to get food deliveries. Now I'm completely out of pocket, with nothing to show for it and if I could afford it, wouldn't be able to walk to the local shop anyway. This is the worst customer service I've ever received, as stuff like this happens a lot. Also, the whole 10 euro off when you spend 50 euro? Read the small print. It's only if you buy specific items. Lidl used to deliver through buymie, and were brilliant. Dunnes are a disaster. I've spent a fortune with them. They obviously place no importance on customer loyalty. Weekend ruined. Avoid at all costs.

@Buymie_IRE I used your service for the first time yesterday from Dunnes. So much shopping crammed into bags that I have flat bread, salad & herbs. Raspberry containers & yogurt popped open & ruined. Please train your shoppers!

@RobertCox @DietCoke @dunnesstores Regarding our cancellation policy, as noted in our TOS, an order can only be cancelled free of charge before your personal shopper has started shopping. After this point, the shopper must be paid for their time and effort, and a cancellation fee will apply.

CRIMINAL GROCERS? @Buymie_IRE is right now offering an 18 pack of @DietCoke from @dunnesstores for €10. I purchased 6 cases or 108 cans for €60. They called to say they were “substituting” my order for a 12 pack of @dietcoke. I had to ask to be told the price — €10. So, same price but 12 cans not 18 😳 This is not “substitution” this is “bait and switch” — a deceitful and unethical business practice. This is them jacking up the price by 50%. When I complained to @Buymie_IRE they blamed @dunnesstores. I said I wished to terminate my @buymie account but they say @dunnesstores will not honor the 3 x €10 vouchers in my @buymie account. I said I wanted to cancel my entire order but @buymie said they would charge me a €15 penalty. I am new to Ireland but cannot fathom how people here tolerate absolute crap customer service at every turn.

@Buymie_IRE It seems to be resolved now by uninstalling, running norton, restarting my phone and then reinstalling it. Was able to order yesterday without trouble. Thanks again as always!

@Buymie_IRE you delayed my delivery by over 24 hours yesterday with 10 mins notice. Doesn’t look like you will deliver at the rescheduled time again today? What’s the point in providing slots if you can’t honour them ? Terrible service
