@CoachMarc1 AAA tournaments start on Thursdays now, and most teams are done their 4 round robin games Saturday morning and home in the afternoon. Yet you still pay for Saturday hotel. No need to take Monday off though 😜

@BlakeCallagha14 I don’t think it’s because minor hockey coaches don’t want the help. It’s more to do with things like lack of ice time or team budget. Many associations have skill development experts available and they are used when possible.

How come the best coaches in the world are willing to bring in expert help but minor coaches do not want anyone helping them improve.

Some older fans would say Dan Quinn was the first ODHA player to go first overall to OHL. Dan is from Brockville but was playing Jr when drafted. Different rules then.
