Today was impactful! The Emerging 100 of Atlanta came to Heritage Academy to present “Tying It All Together,” reminding our young men that every lesson in life, just like tying a tie, takes patience, practice, and persistence. You may not get it right the first time, but with consistency, you will get there. They also spoke about the importance of image, respect, and how you show up in every room. Experiences like this give these young men the chance to see real examples of excellence and what it looks like in action. #APSExcellence #AtlantaPublicSchools

Loved planning with Ms. Bervine @APSHeritage yesterday using @HappyNumbers and a data protocol to close learning gaps📊. Today, students jumped right into their personalized pathways, turning data into action! 🎃

A true example of the experts are in the room. Our “virtual” STEM endorsement class met “in person”tonight. We enjoyed an terrific tech takeover by @APSITMylecia

Diving into plant and animal cells on @zSpace had Ms. Bervine & Ms. Williams fully engaged @APSHeritage. We then started planning a 3D lesson, and I can’t wait to see how excited the students will be when they get their turn.

Had a great time with @APSHeritage 5th graders today exploring plant and animal cells in @waygroundai! 🧬 After digging into organelles, we shifted to @mergecube for a hands-on scavenger hunt. Their curiosity made the learning come alive! Even @apsitnatasha joined in the fun!
