I worked my last day at the @LSJNews on Saturday after nearly four years. It was a difficult decision to leave the journalism field, but I am very excited to start as a communications manager in the MSU Office of the Provost on Monday. I can’t wait to start this new adventure.

Can any journalist please explain to me the purpose of publishing the 911 tapes from the Feb. 13 shooting at MSU? What does this accomplish besides retraumatizing everyone affected by the shooting?
