The @NewYorkStateAG’s statement from earlier today bears almost no relationship to the actual facts of my case. I am not guilty of misusing Conservative Party funds for personal expenses, nor am I guilty of transferring Party funds to myself. I have never stolen from the Conservative Party or from anyone else, and I did not—and would never—abuse my position within the Party. Making honest mistakes on financial disclosure forms is not theft. Stay tuned.

Today, we join the world in observing International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We remember the six million Jews and countless others who perished in the Holocaust, and we honor the survivors who have bravely shared their stories. We stand united to ensure this atrocity will never happen again.

I know the names of the NYS DEC workers who ordered and approved the killing of Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon. I won't post these, but the state and the DEC must address this issue. They have pissed off a lot of people by this incredibly cruel act. "We're the government and you will do what we say," doesn't cut it. The only way out of this is with an apology and some accountability. The anger across the region is palpable over this.

One of the new laws "will require credit card companies to assign a unique tracking code to gun and ammunition dealers in New York state." What will the state do with this data? Tracking legal Second Amendment purchases is an affront to the Constitution. nystateofpolitics.com/state-of-polit…

In August, our family sold our Livingston County home and moved to a new location. While this move makes my commute to the office much shorter, I already miss the county I have called home for almost two decades. Livingston County will always hold many incredible memories. It is the place where I raised my children, worshipped with my family and cut my teeth in politics. Twelve years ago, I first ran for and was elected as County Chairman of the Livingston County Conservative Party (@LivingstonCtyCP). Now that I am no longer a resident of #LivCo, it is time to pass the baton of leadership to other local Conservatives. I will not be running for another term as county chairman. Having been recently elected as a Vice Chairman of the State Conservative Party (@CPNYS), I do intend to stay involved in conservative politics throughout the state, however. It has been an honor to play a small part in electing many solid representatives at every level of government. I am not going to name any in particular, but these friends of our party—some Democrat, Republican and Conservative—have each become personal friends as well. Even a few we have initially opposed have gone on to serve admirably and become companions on this journey.
