@GenePark It went from being unplayable on console and playable on pc, to being fantastic on console and truly innovative on pc. Really is the “can it run crysis” except it just happens to get the shiny new tech thing

@Toadsanime Feel like I’m gonna have the same exact reaction I did to the first one. Gorgeous to watch, surprised by decent performances, but ultimately just wanting more and forgetting about it in a few months.

Saw #SuperMarioGalaxy last night in 4DX.
It's a palatable-enough family film, with run-of-the-mill empty plot, but visually stunning. It's fine. My non-gaming film fan partner didn't hate it. It is, by no means, "worse than AI slop", obviously.
As for me, as a huge Mario fan...

@Gothalion The statement about the quality of rewards being economy busting changed me on this. Basically you have an infinite wealth of the rich getting richer if this is available all the time. Having a window to somewhat *compete* for the motherload makes more sense

@PaulTassi @Forbes The take for better or worse is that Bungie atleast made a game for someone, rather than going down the route of trying to make a game for everyone. Whether that holds long term success is yet to be seen, but definitely can’t say they didn’t swing here

Three planets, three enemy types, three objectives, side objectives, renegade powers (which are actually good), invasion (I don't hate it), lots of loot, currency to dump for more loot
Nothing lasts six months, but it's pretty great

DUDE I'm so serious, Lawless Frontier has got to be one of the best activities Bungie have ever made PERIOD I'm sitting here tweeting at 2am while loading into yet another job and thinking to myself "one more before bed" like??? The Sieve could never 🤣 Genuinely so much fun, love the maps, love the Renegade Abilities, ADORE Invasions, bravo man I can't remember the last time I've had this much fun. Hope to see more awesome activities like this in the future, PLUS, maybe a hot take, but Invasions should be a thing EVERYWHERE, brings so much more interesting gameplay. Yeah that's all, just wanted to express how awesome Frontiers are :)

@unjustaction Take advantage of the fact that the community embraces segmented runs so much. Get good at trevor. then get good all the way through friends reunited. I ran that game a LONG time ago, and only got really good at trevor. The rest of the game took me 8 hours

@Gothalion I think you could potentially do a prequel game again? Given the huge timegap between 3 and 4, compared to the one from 2-3 (not counting the actual wait), there's room for another band of vault hunters dealing with a quickly rising power timekeeper, compared to 4.

So what do you think the “spinoff” game for Borderlands 4 will be? Gearbox has used the framework of their previous 2 games to make side games like Pre-Sequel and Wonderlands.
Wonderlands 2 with an open world and learning lessons from the first game would go hard IMO.
Tho, It it could be something completely different
