@C123BL456 @KIRSoccer @DavidEccle2746 @garvin_st Since when was government covering us to travel? They spend billions of our taxpayers money bailing themselves out and other corporations. Meanwhile, Americans are getting laid off and priced out of their own homes. Ppl also travel city to city for work and leisure?

Losing Spirit Airlines is a big deal. Low budget airlines are essential to keeping travel affordable, and without them, millions of people will simply be priced out of flying. Competition matters, and when low-cost carriers disappear, everyone pays the price.

@kiwiians @KIRSoccer @DavidEccle2746 @garvin_st Completely agree that we shouldn’t be funding a war when people can’t afford groceries, housing and healthcare. And people shouldn’t have to wait until they are almost 70 to retire just to have affordable healthcare. But travel IS a luxury that should not be govt subsidized.

@C123BL456 @KIRSoccer @DavidEccle2746 @garvin_st Us as taxpayers that are funding billions for a war but can’t afford gas or groceries? Many states are cutting funding for schools, jobs and healthcare. Millions of ppl are forced out of retirement bc they are priced out of the economy. But travel has to be a luxury?

@KIRSoccer @DavidEccle2746 @garvin_st I know the cost dummy. I’m saying the cost is ridiculous for Americans all around to travel city to city or state to state. If you are fine spending thousands on gas, tolls, daily parking fees, car note, and insurance MONTHLY to go to work and home, then that’s you.

People making jokes about Spirit airlines and saying Frontier should be next are ignorant. When there is no longer affordable options to fly then what? Not to mention the thousands of people losing their jobs in a terrible economy! This is not funny.

@JaeHasABlackJob My problem is spirit's nickel and diming pricing structure. Carry-on bags even get fees. CARRY-ON.

@JaeHasABlackJob What’s was so wrong about what I said? It’s simple math. A Boeing 747 holds about 60,000 gallons of fuel. So airlines are very sensitive to fuel prices rising. They have to raise their flight prices as a result to continue turning a profit.

Elon I hate you, for this cesspool of fools you allowed on this app.

@JaeHasABlackJob Flying used to be unaffordable and heading back in that direction. Airlines need to turn a profit. It may sound insensitive, but travel is a privelege, not a right. Back in the 80s my parents couldn’t afford flights for my whole family so we’d road trip everywhere.

@garvin_st @Hollywood7300 Exactly but airlines are for profit businesses with shareholders. Fuel prices and wages are rising. What is your proposed solution?

@cardshopmd @JaeHasABlackJob Bingo. People are reacting emotionally about this not logically. Airlines need to turn a profit. If they don’t, their shareholders will bail. And this brings us into government subsidized air travel, in a country that doesn’t even have decent government subsidized healthcare

@JaeHasABlackJob First off they wont be out of work for long, Mechanic's, pilots, stewardess all will find work quickly. They cant afford the cost of the the fuel at 4.83 a gallon each holds 6,853 gallons. It cost $33,099.99 begore each plane can take off. This does not include other cost

@garvin_st Road trips come back in style. Before discount air there was staycation, camping in local parks, and family road trips. Can't afford the tin can in air than keep it on ground and local.

@Hollywood7300 @garvin_st You’re right though. Flying is not a guaranteed right and while I agree taxpayer dollars should be used for basic human needs I don’t agree with government subsidized air travel. And low cost airlines will struggle to make a profit with fuel prices and wages rising.

@garvin_st Your argument is that people will be priced out of flying. Why are people entitled to fly? They aren't.

🚨 SOMETHING FEELS OFF Watch him closely. • Arms and hands barely moving • Face stiff… almost frozen • Long pauses… staring straight ahead This isn’t Trump’s usual energy. Something’s different. People are starting to notice. What do you see?

🚨 BREAKING: ICE agents took that 5-year-old boy in Minnesota to MCDONALD'S, and "played his favorite music to comfort him" The Fake News said he was "DETAINED" by ICE. The reality is he was abandoned and SAVED by ICE. YOU CAN'T HATE THEM ENOUGH! Good on these ICE agents! 👏🏻

@BillMelugin_ @FoxNews I won’t believe anything re this case unless I see videos. Until then, it’s “he said she said”. I did not vote for Trump but I feel that if he had a chance to voluntarily return to his country he should have done so rather than risk getting arrested, causing trauma to his child

NEW: @FoxNews has obtained a DHS photo of ADRIAN ALEXANDER CONEJO ARIAS, the father of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos. A senior DHS official tells FOX they have no record of the family entering the U.S. via the Biden era CBP One cell phone app as the family attorney claimed. FOX is told CONEJO ARIAS is an Ecuadorean national who is in the U.S. illegally, and DHS offered him a process known as VR (voluntary return) to leave the U.S. voluntarily with no immigration consequence, but he declined. DHS says CONEJO ARIAS fled from ICE agents who were trying to arrest him in Minnesota, leaving his 5-year-old son Liam behind with ICE agents in a situation now seen in viral photos. This has sparked claims from Democrats that Liam was “kidnapped” and “targeted” by ICE to be “used as bait”.

@Mamabenergy2 @RepLuna Legit question, where was his mother? Was she home and refusing to open the door? If so, the officers couldn’t just leave him by himself. Also, did they let the father call the mother to take the child?

@DHSgov I have a question and am not looking for “being here illegally IS a crime” as a response. Did this father commit any other crimes? Was he a threat to society? I’m asking because said the focus would be on immigrants who committed serious crimes (assault, drugs etc).

ICE did NOT target a child. The child was ABANDONED. On January 20, ICE conducted a targeted operation to arrest Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias an illegal alien from Ecuador who was RELEASED into the U.S. by the Biden administration. As agents approached the driver Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, fled on foot—abandoning his child. For the child’s safety, one of our ICE officers remained with the child while the other officers apprehended Conejo Arias.   Parents are asked if they want to be removed with their children, or ICE will place the children with a safe person the parent designates. This is consistent with past administration’s immigration enforcement. Parents can take control of their departure and receive a free flight and $2,600 with the CBP Home app. By using the CBP Home app illegal aliens reserve the chance to come back the right legal way.

ICE just detained a 5-year-old child. Don’t tell us this is about “the worst of the worst.” That’s a lie. Absolutely vile. kare11.com/article/news/l…
