Meanwhile, Americans are getting laid off and priced out of their own homes. Ppl also travel city to city for work and leisure?

Losing Spirit Airlines is a big deal. Low budget airlines are essential to keeping travel affordable, and without them, millions of people will simply be priced out of flying. Competition matters, and when low-cost carriers disappear, everyone pays the price.

And people shouldn’t have to wait until they are almost 70 to retire just to have affordable healthcare. But travel IS a luxury that should not be govt subsidized.

If you are fine spending thousands on gas, tolls, daily parking fees, car note, and insurance MONTHLY to go to work and home, then that’s you.

@JaeHasABlackJob What’s was so wrong about what I said? It’s simple math. A Boeing 747 holds about 60,000 gallons of fuel. So airlines are very sensitive to fuel prices rising. They have to raise their flight prices as a result to continue turning a profit.
