Finally opened up my C64 Ultimate and fitted the Utility Buttons. I found a USB LED thing in my drawer so I put that inside to give off a bit of a glow. Next step is to put the SID chip in and hopefully change the power light. #Commodore64 #Commodore64Ultimate

I write a SCSI CD Audio player for the #C64. It’s written in BASIC, but I’m planning on porting it to C64 OS soon. It’s pretty cool. Pretty fast too, considering it’s in BASIC.

Man, this book absolutely swallowed me whole back in the day. I had the Commodore 64 Programmer’s Reference Guide practically glued to my C64 table and tried every single example, command, and memory poke I could find. Hours upon hours of typing, crashing, and learning. One of the best tools for the Commodore 64, who else agrees?

The PET Family Tree – A Retro Computing Masterpiece (1982) Check out this incredible diagram from TORPET Magazine (1982) by the legendary Jim Butterfield! It maps out the entire “family tree” of Commodore’s PET computers. From the original 2001 PET (1976) with its tiny keyboard and built-in cassette, through the upgraded 2001/3000 series, the business-oriented 4000/8000 lines, the colorful Commodore 64, the VIC-20, and even the mysterious “P,” “B,” and “BX” series—it’s all here. You can even see connections to Apple, Atari, KIM-1, SYM, and other contemporaries, all powered by the mighty MOS 6502 processor. Credit: TORPET Magazine (1982) • Diagram by Jim Butterfield Who else grew up with a PET, VIC, or C64?
