@TheDeacMachine The football team is being taken care of NIL wise. We’re putting the money in for facilities, our coaching staff, and to get good quality players that will help us to keep us at least competitive in the league. Basketball were just not putting it into it.

If Juke Harris is drafted this summer, that is one thing.
But, if he instead plays for another college next season, it is an abject failure from Wake. For the powers that be, it’s unacceptable and should be a wake up call.

Maybe we can fundraise to build a roster for a year or a few years, but we don’t have the enterprise to be able to field a consistently competitive team indefinitely - not in this age of rapid salary increases.
