TRAVEL NIGHTMARE. The American People are paying the price for the Democrats’ DHS shutdown. Across the country, travelers are facing HOURS long wait times at airports and our @TSA officers are being forced to work without pay.   Democrats must END the shutdown, fund DHS, and pay our TSA agents.

EVERY SINGLE Republican in the Senate has voted to fund DHS and end these TSA lines! Meanwhile, Democrats are holding TSA paychecks hostage to play political games. They’d rather see you stuck in line than do their jobs. 🤡 Americans deserve better 🇺🇸

Because of the Democrats’ DHS shutdown, TSA officers nationwide are working without pay. Some officers can’t even afford gas to get to work. It’s time for Democrats to END the DHS shutdown and stop holding the paychecks of more than 100,000 DHS employees hostage.

@apostolic307 @ScarletReeds New protocol are in place. If you dont meet it, you can't get on a plane in Springfeild USA and fly anywhere else in the world. Privatize airport security and hold it to that standard

Before 9/11, airport passenger screening was handled by private companies contracted by airlines. Some think it should go back to, what do you think? Should we we privatize the TSA?

I agree with all that. But air travel is global and almost all airports adhere to nearly exact same protocol. I cant put my finger on it, but the requirement for security pressure is beyond domestic. I think we could easily put the economics of it on the users (airlines and airports)

Me convince the government? No never. We the people could. No TSA for decades until a made up story about terrorists with box cutters paved the way for taking away our freedom. But too many are still duped into thinking this is a democrat vs republican issue. It’s a government suppressing the people problem.

In airports across the country, Democrats are making the heroic men and women of TSA work without pay for the THIRD time in six months — forcing 366 agents to leave the force. This loss of TSA officers significantly decreases TSA’s long-term ability to meet passenger demand and leaves critical gaps in staffing, as each new recruit requires 4-6 MONTHS of training.

@FLVoiceNews You will never convince government to give up TSA. And TSA is unionized. Privatize airport security. That avenue might work

Many TSA officers cannot pay their rent, buy food, or afford to put gas in their cars — forcing them to call out sick from work. At Houston Hobby Airport call outs reached a staggering 55% over the weekend. Enough is enough: Democrats must end their reckless DHS shutdown and stop holding the livelihoods of TSA officers hostage.

@DHSgov Americans don’t want the TSA. It’s the government that is preventing people from flying by making TSA a requirement.

@DHSgov @elonmusk wouldn’t this be a great opportunity to start supplementing the TSA workforce with Optimus on a trial basis? Maybe for every 5 TSA agents we could have 1 Optimus TSA agent-in-training learning that skill set?
