TRAVEL NIGHTMARE.
The American People are paying the price for the Democrats’ DHS shutdown.
Across the country, travelers are facing HOURS long wait times at airports and our @TSA officers are being forced to work without pay.
Democrats must END the shutdown, fund DHS, and pay our TSA agents.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office has received a flood of social media comments, DMs, and phone calls about the #Afroman defamation trial. It’s clear this is important to a lot of people. There's just one small issue: that's the ACSO in Ohio. We are the ACSO in #Colorado. Different states, same name.

@apostolic307 @ScarletReeds New protocol are in place. If you dont meet it, you can't get on a plane in Springfeild USA and fly anywhere else in the world.
Privatize airport security and hold it to that standard
English

@ScarletReeds Yeah. And idiots ran it and held the gate wide open for anything coming in. ANYTHING !!!

Me convince the government?
No never.
We the people could.
No TSA for decades until a made up story about terrorists with box cutters paved the way for taking away our freedom.
But too many are still duped into thinking this is a democrat vs republican issue.
It’s a government suppressing the people problem.

In airports across the country, Democrats are making the heroic men and women of TSA work without pay for the THIRD time in six months — forcing 366 agents to leave the force.
This loss of TSA officers significantly decreases TSA’s long-term ability to meet passenger demand and leaves critical gaps in staffing, as each new recruit requires 4-6 MONTHS of training.
English

@FLVoiceNews You will never convince government to give up TSA. And TSA is unionized.
Privatize airport security. That avenue might work

TSA officials say staffing is stretched to the limit, with tens of thousands of officers working without pay amid the ongoing shutdown.

@Alchemist1987 @DHSgov You will never convince government to give it TSA. And TSA is unionized.

Many TSA officers cannot pay their rent, buy food, or afford to put gas in their cars — forcing them to call out sick from work. At Houston Hobby Airport call outs reached a staggering 55% over the weekend.
Enough is enough: Democrats must end their reckless DHS shutdown and stop holding the livelihoods of TSA officers hostage.
English

@RProoster @DHSgov Agreed. But you will never convince government to give it up. And TSA is unionized.
Privatize airport security. That avenue might work
English

@DHSgov Americans don’t want the TSA.
It’s the government that is preventing people from flying by making TSA a requirement.
English

@DHSgov Hard truth, TSA keeps it moving
We need stable staffing to keep skies safe
Support the people who keep us flying smooth
English

@DHSgov You should be in talks with the airports to hire them directly and pay them.
