Before 9/11, airport passenger screening was handled by private companies contracted by airlines. Some think it should go back to, what do you think? Should we we privatize the TSA?

I agree with all that. But air travel is global and almost all airports adhere to nearly exact same protocol. I cant put my finger on it, but the requirement for security pressure is beyond domestic. I think we could easily put the economics of it on the users (airlines and airports)

Me convince the government? No never. We the people could. No TSA for decades until a made up story about terrorists with box cutters paved the way for taking away our freedom. But too many are still duped into thinking this is a democrat vs republican issue. It’s a government suppressing the people problem.

At Houston Hobby Airport call outs reached a staggering 55% over the weekend.
