@PinYoungActress @ashleyjjwhite Exactly. Language is alive and always changing. It intention of the speaker & understanding of the listeners is all that matters. Linguistic history is replete with examples.

@ashleyjjwhite I get you want to be inclusive, but most people use "you guys" or "hey guys" in a gender neutral manner. I certainly do, and I don't feel bad about it at all. I'll still use "hey guys" with my group of girl friends. That's just the general use of the phrase now.

I’m REALLY struggling to stop saying “you guys.” I’m trying, but I can’t find a phrase that feels the same. Any suggestions?
