#yegtraffic: Starting today, 118 Avenue westbound will be closed between Wayne Gretzky Drive and 78 Street, and eastbound lanes will be split to allow traffic in both directions for approx. three days for water work. Thanks for your patience while crews work safely and efficiently.

@EPCOR Power in Newton just went down. How long will it be before power is restored?

As of 1:00 pm 8400 homes are without power across the city. Edmontonians can check the power outage map at outages.epcor.com for the latest information on outages and restoration times.  We remind people that if they see a downed power line they should stay 10 metres away (about the length of a bus) and immediately call 911 or EPCOR at 780-412-4500. @EPCOR power outage in parkview. There was a bump, power went back on and then everything went out about a minute afterwards. We’re dark.

#yegtraffic: Starting today, Feb 9, for three months, there will be traffic disruptions along 100 Ave between 111 St and 112 St with EB and WB lane reductions. Left and right hand turns EB onto 100 Ave will not be permitted from 112 St. Access to the health center remains open.

@CityofEdmonton if only the storm water drains weren't blocked by your snow piles, maybe the water would have somewhere to drain. @EPCOR isn’t it your job to keep storm drains clear? @YEGMayorOffice @AndrewKnack @yegwave

@DJTravelAbacus Thanks for the question. EPCOR responds when catch basins themselves are frozen or blocked. If a catch basin is visible and has a clear path to it, but it’s not draining, it is likely blocked or frozen, and you can call us at 780-412-4500 so our crews can respond. (1/2)
