After CBS embarrassed Karen Bass by fact-checking her debate lies about the Palisades Fire, they clearly got the call. CBS filmed with me on my burned out lot for over an hour, and they turned it over to Karen Bass’ PR team to edit it into a comical 5 minute hit piece with clips from the Hills. They can’t beat my ideas, they can’t beat me in the debates, so they gotta try to turn my campaign into a sideshow. People are done with these skeezy political tricks, and I’m done with CBS. They’ll never get a word from me for my next 8 years as mayor. Adios! What outlet should I have in their absence?

I didn't stonewall inquiries - that's completely false... I literally responded to questions here directly - just scroll through the thread. I've been nothing but transparent... As I explained in previous posts in this thread - I reshot the end of the piece to clarify Raman was not quitting her council position. She said in the interview that if she doesn't win the mayoral race it would be her last political campaign.

Still don’t have a side-by-side from @CBSLATom. Claiming it was an “update” rather than a deletion and replacement is sketchy. But stonewalling inquiries, and labeling some of us as “mean” for asking, makes the situation even sketchier than it needs to be. @bariweiss @CBSNews

@jenvanlaar The video is back up. We updated the end to clear up confusion. In the original version I said Raman would "leave politics" if she lost the mayoral race. I updated to say it would be "her last political campaign."

Something very weird is going on here. The mid-day Nithya Raman feature story on @CBSLosAngeles, in which it was reported that the councilmember intends to quit politics should she not win election as Los Angeles mayor, has been scrubbed from YouTube and the CBS website.
