President Trump's statement regarding Sadiq Khan and London is inflammatory and misleading.
It exaggerates the changes taking place in the city and falsely suggests an intention to impose Sharia law, which has no basis in reality.
This rhetoric fuels division and distorts the reality of London's diverse, multicultural society under Khan's leadership.
It is a clear example of political exaggeration intended to stir controversy rather than foster constructive dialogue.

It's brilliant to see @DermotMurnaghan, @RishiSunak and Stephen Fry all backing the campaign for a national prostate cancer screening programme.
Early detection screening could significantly reduce treatment costs while keeping families together longer. The case is clear- now we need action.

@Telegraph It’s offered here as well. Anyone over 50 can request one. My husband received a letter about it. I don’t think people are doing any research before deciding it’s not offered on the NHS

🩸 In other countries, screening for prostate cancer is offered to men within a certain age bracket via the PSA test.

@StuartJRitchie @CDP1882 Yes they apparently can’t do anything about the constant stench of weed and people smoking it in the streets in Kingston/Teddington/Richmond etc. Can’t even have your windows open. Just Came back from 4 days back in Amsterdam. Didn’t smell it once because they enforce laws
English

Ever had the police tell you they “can’t really do anything” about some crime you’ve reported to them?
Well you’ll be delighted to learn that they’re hassling people for what they call “non-crime hate incidents” - that is, things they readily admit are not crimes!
Charlie Peters@CDP1882
This is a man facing a 'hate incident' charge because he politely asked a question about Islamic scripture. There are fears swirling around Westminster that we could soon have a de facto blasphemy law through a new Islamophobia definition. But this shows it's already here.

@TRobinsonNewEra Even elderly man are not safe from these animals.
Should have he worn a burqa perhaps? It was his fault he was revealing himself

A MAN in his 60s was raped outside a church in the early hours of the morning, it is alleged - with a suspect arrested and charged.
Police were called to reports of a sexual assault in Station Road, in Harrow, north west London, at around 12.50am on Wednesday.
Ethiopian, Bruke Desalagne, 32, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of sexual assault and rape.
No fixed address aka migrant hotel.

@HerbsandDirt This is the bread I brought home from Amsterdam last night (I bring bread back to the U.K. every time as it’s the best).
Wheat and rye flour, butter, cream, acerola powder and yeast. Doesn’t have a best before date, just a packed date. Fresh yesterday 😋. It’s not making me sad

@JacquiDeevoy1 @AlanJLSmith If you mentioned that to anyone or talked about it near your phone, or said in a message “just throwing out that old clothes rail”, or had your camera on, then your phone tracks it and apps on your phone access the data. Apps all share data with each other
English

@AlanJLSmith To do with what you’re looking at? I hadn’t looked at any clothes rails recently although I did bin an old broken one on Monday!!!
English

I was THINKING about getting a clothes rail and some hangers this morning and now my FB account is flooded with ads for both!
I’m home alone, haven’t spoken a word to anyone today yet somehow FB has read my mind!
I haven’t ordered anything online, I’ve not told anyone about my thoughts, nor have I clicked on any ads. How does this work?
English

@JacquiDeevoy1 You’ve interacted with posts about closet organisation/clothes rails without really thinking. Also based on age & demographics. A lot of it is subconscious. You’re constantly tracked and guided towards purchases, thinking you came up with it yourself. You’ve been brainwashed
English

@redheadranting They’re in the business of making money. So it’s not in their interests, or their responsibility to remind you to do things in life. Some companies do send a reminder, but not all. Put reminders in your phone. You can also set reminders if it was through Apple

@TelegraphTravel @Telegraph I’ve lived in London, NYC, Sydney, Brisbane, Leeds, Amsterdam, Rome, Newcastle, Barcelona, and would say London &
NYC were the greatest cities up to about 15 years ago. Now both are unrecognisable
English

🏙️ New York and London are arguably the two greatest cities in the world. But which is actually better?
Our writer compares the two great global cities to answer the question once and for all👇

@AwakenedOf The people who would agree to have a device forced onto them by the government and keep it with them at all times are the same ones who stayed locked in their own homes, have smart metres, use Alexa and put all their holiday dates on Facebook. There’s no helping them anyway
English

@CCB_32 Well mine will be accidentally dropped in the bath. Frequently
English

@RealGeneKelly @drandrewb You don’t think people can be made homeless for any other reason than being an addict?! What about being evicted on a “no fault” eviction, losing a job, getting a home repossessed, divorce, mental health issues, terminal illness, etc etc?
English

@drandrewb “Homelessness” is properly called “drug addiction”. Step one: Stop using the misleading euphemism in place of the clear condition.
Step two: Stop drug addiction. This begins by stopping drug pushers. Custodial treatment for the “homeless” addicts.
English

@AwakenedOf The government are going to give out 70 million smartphones, pay for a contract and charger and then somehow force you to keep it with you at all times? I don’t think so.
English

@paulafr68963440 If you’re stupid at 16 then you’re not going to get more intelligent as you get older. You’ll just learn more. Intelligence is inherent. I was at uni at that age and would have voted the same as I do now. I know plenty of clueless, ignorant adults who vote. Age isn’t the issue
English

@AlecStapp It’s a protective layer that protects it from further erosion so cleaning would harm the integrity of the statue. They tell you that in the museum at the top. And I’m British!
English

@HJB_News__ Fake news. The actual quote was “A Home Office spokeswoman told the BBC the asylum system was under "unprecedented strain".
English

@Jenny_1884 I don’t get why anything needs to be a charity when the government has £billions to waste. Why is the public having to pay tax, then pay again for medical research or search and rescue, or to help the elderly?! makes no sense. They’re basic government responsibilities
