When I called @zancan “the Legend,” it was, of course, a bit of an understatement. What it meant to us is that we have a small GenArt community here, and we even named a café where we would meet — “Zancan.” Tonight, it seems there will be no meetings at that café, and that the Qotonana generative art journey has come to an end. It was wild 4 years and at least it’s nice to have this kind of appreciation. Thank you all ❤️🙏

This is gonna be memorable. A truly fresh take on landscape generative art.

Continuing the exploration with some alternative terrain "types", starting with a volcanic terrain. I love how some palettes really work with the dormant volcanic idea. Going to do some digging into what types of terrain I can implement in this engine :)

Toying with some shaderwork from previous pieces, really happy with how it ties it together :) This is starting to become one of my favourite algorithms I've written (might be recency bias?)
