Yesterday marked a milestone moment in Tunisia-Africa relations. H.E. @nardosbthomas, arrived in Tunis ahead of the #FITA2025 International Conference on Financing Investment and Trade in Africa. She was warmly received by Mr. Anis Jaziri, President of the Tunisia Africa Business Council (#TABC), kicking off what promises to be a catalytic moment for regional cooperation and investment. Over 1,000 decision-makers, investors, business leaders, and institutional reps from across Africa and beyond are gathering in Tunis this week—proof of Africa’s rising investment momentum. @nardosbthomas said it best: “This is more than participation—it is a statement.” Our presence affirms our commitment to a prosperous, integrated continent. #FITA2025 offers a platform to share bold ideas, forge Tunisia-Africa synergies, and champion transformative projects aligned with #Agenda2063. The journey toward inclusive development accelerates here. We look forward to catalytic partnerships, meaningful engagement, and action-driven outcomes. #FITA2025 #PartnershipsForImpact

Today, in a powerful display of Africa’s unity and ambition, we’ve launched a landmark collaboration with the Government of Tunisia to strengthen national health systems and harness the full potential of the country’s vibrant youth. Led by our CEO, @nardosbthomas, and backed by a delegation of senior experts, today’s High-Level Engagement in Tunis marks a significant step forward in our collective pursuit of inclusive growth and self-determined development. This mission builds on strategic dialogues held in Addis Ababa earlier this year with Tunisia’s Honourable Minister of Health, Professor Mustapha Ferjani. With over half of Tunisia’s population under the age of 30, the country is poised to reap the rewards of a demographic dividend. This partnership is rooted in a bold vision: that health, education, and opportunity are not just investments—they are the foundation of a prosperous and resilient Africa. @SymerreGrey #Agenda2063

The African Medicines Quality Forum Technical Committee convened in Zambia this week, tackling a comprehensive agenda aimed at advancing vaccine manufacturing, establishing a continental framework for laboratory equipment, and combating substandard and falsified medicines from a laboratory perspective. The committee also focused on strategies for laboratory capacity building and the operationalisation of the African Medicines Agency (AMA). In her opening remarks, @CChamdimba underscored the pivotal role that laboratories play in our collective efforts to ensure every African has access to safe and effective medicinal products. This mission is at the heart of all our work as we progress towards our #Agenda63 goals #AMA #Safemedicines
