Just taking a curmudgeonly minute to lament the students who slow down everything by clicking the wifi on my ethernet-connected media computers and then have the gall to ask “How can they get internet without wifi” when I complain. The kids are fine—this is an Aging tweet.

Do the right thing family. All of it hard, but this one is easy. Make the open layup. You are unblocked, make the tackle. They pulled the goalie, make the shot. The count is 3-0, the bases are loaded, and you are down 1. Don’t swing. No homework over spring (or any) break ❤️

This week my students embarked on a new project researching living poets in Philly. By far the best part of the week was our poet draft which saw my students ruining each others’ lives by stealing their draft picks. Poetry is not a luxury. We should all be so hype. #phled
