If YouTube weather was around on 4/27/11 this is exactly what I would expect to see for a generational event.
The problem is this messaging is used EVERY SINGLE TIME. If every event is exceptional or “not good” or “no way” then nothing is. And one day people will tune it out.

I hate the way YouTube is but as someone who used to make these for Max, there is really a whole art into doing these. There is a tradeoff, the thumbnails are very clickbaity but the people are getting important information that they likely would have not known. There is a big difference in style, one will do good and one will do very poorly. It’s very much a trial and error.

@RazorFist Massie stands on his morals which is fine until you realize that impedes the right and benefits the left. So he is ineffective when Dems are in control and doesn't help when repubs are in control. Sometimes he just has to get on board with things people overwhelmingly want.

Allowing himself to be used as a wedge by people even more loathsome than he is.
If Massie were to reverse course or wax conciliatory for a few months, I'd probably be inclined to support him.

And now that police reports have come out saying Chud went for his gun first? A lot of those people got very quiet.

As far as defensive weapons go I’m a big believer in these. My friend gave me my first one (his) right after I came out, saying I needed it more than he did. Still the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever received.

FYI: collapsible batons are much cheaper than guns, don’t need licensure and are a lot less of an escalation simply to draw but are scary enough to deter and extend your reach by >1’ if not. I got my Smith & Wesson for $50. Break their legs and run! (Check legality in your area.)
