My heart is broken reading the news about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. I have continued to call on President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to prioritize food and medical aid to the Palestinians urgently. While I’m relieved to see some steps being taken, the US, Israel, the UN, and our allies must do everything in their power to surge food, water, and medical aid immediately. Like so many, I am desperate for an end to this war and recognize a resolution must involve a return of all hostages and an end of Hamas rule in Gaza, the end of Israel’s military operations, and a plan to rebuild Gaza. While these negotiations continue, we cannot allow these dire conditions to threaten the lives of Palestinian families.
