If found guilty, that means the American government has ruled that black people are legally allowed to assault White people for saying a word.

@Overlord_Manga But yeah, I always viewed this storyline like the show Loki. In that, the TVA's sole purpose is to eliminate any deviations from the main timeline. In FF7R, the whispers essentially were the TVA. Keep order and allow no deviations (such as Barret being killed).

@CDUB901 The whispers are being controlled by Sephiroth in Rebirth. Why or how he got controll over them or how he wiped the memory of Red, Aerith and the group is never really explained so theres a big plothole there. And since they forgor remake end is basically useless.

I agree it isn't continuation of the OG, rather a split timeline, where the OG timeline still existed.

And it isnt time travel. Devs have confirmed its different planets so alternate worlds aka multiverse is a good starting point.
