Senate Appropriations and Revenue Committee Chair Chris McDaniel, House Majority Whip Jason Nemes, and Kentucky Chamber Executive Committee Member Carlos Sanchez of @ATT Kentucky emphasized fiscal discipline, pro-growth tax reform, and long-term planning to sustain the state’s strong financial position and drive continued growth. As the General Assembly enters a budget year, lawmakers said they will focus on keeping Kentucky’s tax rates competitive, tracking workforce and income trends, and adapting to federal changes.

Copper wire theft has cost Louisville millions and put public safety at risk. In just 10 months, our Critical Infrastructure Task Force has made multiple arrests including 7 thieves charged earlier this month. We’ve also strengthened state penalties and passed a new Metro Council ordinance to crack down even more.

I love to see people working to give our kids more opportunity. AT&T created the 1st Connected Learning Center in KY at @boysandgirlsclubbg. This gives kids access to digital tools/high speed internet to help w/ homework, search for jobs or take advantage of educational courses.

Thank you, @LMPD The diligent work of our officers has led to another significant copper wire theft arrest. These thieves are disrupting critical infrastructure like highway lighting and telecommunications lines and we will continue working to hold them accountable.
