Hunting, fishing and piddling around on the farm when I'm not at my day job. No DM's after a follow. OkState. I don't follow back political accounts.

@pcdebol @OKDemocrats Thank you! This makes me feel a little better. The save america act is not clear. It says you need ID that proves citizen ship to vote in person, and specifically directs you to "paragraph" 3 above. Its a convoluted piece of trash and needs to be re worked.

Oklahoma Republicans love pointing to our Voter ID law, but the SAVE Act goes further, adding new federal requirements that your Oklahoma driver’s license, REAL ID, or even your voter registration card wouldn’t meet. That’s not security. that’s making it harder to vote.
Sen. James Lankford@SenatorLankford

We use IDs every day. The vast majority of Americans are in favor of using IDs when they vote. The SAVE America Act is common sense.

@PCSoonersFan I live in Oklahoma I have one of those thermostats where the AC and Heater are both always on. If it gets above 73 AC runs if it gets below 70 the heater runs. Set it and forget it.

@VERSACE_CHAVA @Layemie001 In this case, it is not dangerous and will not create any drywall cracking. He created new floor joists that were supported by the walls below and did not add any weight to the roof trusses.

GenX: We didn't have fancy smartphones when we were kids. We had to use a phone attached to the wall by a cord. Also GenX: AI will never take our jobs. It's not sophisticated enough.

@pcdebol @OKDemocrats I am question this because that is NOT what the bill indicates It definitely say you need to show Id in when you vote that is consistant with paragraph 3. said paragraph says ID must show citizenship or you will need bc or passport plus you ID. Unless you have enhanced real id.

@Lgt123Lisa @OKDemocrats Nope all you need to vote in person after registering is your Drivers License or State ID. The people going nuts about this are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I agree. When using these tools you need to be aware of the faults so you don't end up screwing yourself. There biggest fault is they are programmed to make you happy so they don't always give the answer you need. God I wish I had saved that article people using AI find it very helpful. I can't describe the problem perfect. This is a dumb summary of it. Essentially if you ask it about Susies grade in a class it may tell you she is making an A because she got an A on a test even though she is actually failing the class and only made that one A.

@pcdebol @mcandrus Maybe not completely overcome, but I have 5 employees and one of them has a problem every single day that I have to deal with. If I can cut that down to a problem every other week because i'm using robots i'm saving money.

As a carpenter & a contractor let me tell you this is total bullshit. I use AI regularly as a contractor. There are sectors of the construction industry that are moving towards AI. AI will never completely take over construction but it'll take over sizable parts of it.

10 jobs that are 100% safe from AI: 1. Dentist 2. Construction worker 3. Plumbing 4. Farming 5. Gardening 6. Carpentry 7. Cooking 8. Gardening 9. Welder 10. Electrician Did I miss any?!

@BrandonDonkey2 @mcandrus I was talking about it's use today. The problem is a flaw in LLM so it may or may not be completely overcome.

I love how every time a Texas style BBQ restaurant opens in a region with another distinct BBQ style, it without fail ends up being called the “best BBQ restaurant.” And yet people will still try to argue that Texas BBQ isn’t the best.

This is the best BBQ restaurant in SC for 2026, Southern Living says. Here’s why it’s great thestate.com/news/state/sou…

I find AI invaluable for home repair projects. Say I want to put undercabinet lighting in my kitchen. "Okay Grok, here's a picture of my kitchen. What lighting works best?" Out comes a product list with brand names and, if I dig further, installation instructions. It's great stuff and worth every monthly penny I pay for it.

@REMASCULATE Catching fire was rare. The fuel tanks tearing and leaking gas all over was common in rear end collisions over 20mph. That's why they had to do the recall. Flicking your smoke out the window to go talk to the driver that just rear ended you could be fatal.

That whole Pinto exploding story,,, That thing has been passed around more than a collection plate at a country church. I’m not saying it couldn’t happen. ANY car can explode if you hit it wrong enough. You hit a Prius hard enough, it’ll turn into a laptop fire. But people talk about Pintos like they were rolling Molotov cocktails. “I’d never drive one of those… they explode!” Really? They made MILLIONS of ’em. If they were blowing up that much, Ford wouldn’t have had customers… I drove one for years. Never exploded. Not even a warning pop… nothing. But every time somebody brings it up, here comes that same story… “I heard about a guy…” Yeah… you ALWAYS heard about a guy. Nobody ever IS the guy. No pictures. No proof. Just one dude in America apparently exploding over and over again. Pintos killed more people in stories than it ever did in real life.
