Many see it as performative politics over art. Classics with non-diverse casts would be disqualified. He helped install the DEI machinery that turned awards into checkboxes and accelerated Hollywood’s quality decline.

Ayer abrí unos lentes de contacto nuevos y me vinieron así ☠️ los tuve que tirar y abrí otro paquetito y estaba IGUAL. Tuve que tirar 4 cajas en la misma condición, con fecha de vencimiento en 2028. Lo peor es que me los puse, me fui a trabajar y todo el día estuve con una molestia en el ojo y cuando lo saco tenía esa capa que parece un hongo, pensé que era algún producto de skincare o maquillaje pero no sale. My coworker microwaves fish every single day, the entire floor knows it, and the entire floor hates it, but nobody has said anything because nobody wants to be the one who speaks up. Well last week, I did. I knocked on her office door and, as kindly as I could, told her that the smell from the fish was traveling across the entire floor and making it difficult for people to eat at their desks. She looked at me as if I had insulted her entire family, she said she had dietary restrictions and that this was what she could eat, she also pointed out that she had been doing this for two years and no one had ever said anything. I told her I understood and wasn’t trying to make her feel bad, i just wanted her to be aware of how far the smell was spreading. She went to HR. HR called me in and said a complaint had been filed against me for creating a hostile environment. I am someone who politely mentioned a fish smell. The floor is on my side. HR appears to be on hers. And now I’m sitting here, genuinely unsure how I became the villain in a story about microwaved fish. Was I wrong to say something, or is this one of those situations where someone had to?
