@JeanHatchet @BBCRadio4 In the clip I see the man was selling his ill daughter to someone who could pay for her medical treatment with the proviso that she'll marry the buyers son when they are of age. The father had no way of paying for the medicines and treatment the girl needed.

Why have I just listened to a report on @BBCRadio4 which detailed men selling their daughters in Afghanistan - one as young as 5 - to other men. The constructed narrative being sympathetic to the MEN! They are apparently suffering because of economic sanctions so … how could they be expected to do anything else? The reporter feeling so sorry for them and their little stories. Fuck these men and fuck the female reporter telling their story. Afghanistan is subject to sanctions because of the evil regime and partly because of the way it treats women. Imagine if you weren’t abject, woman-hating cowards selling girls and instead you grew a pair and fought the fucking Taliban. That was disgusting.

I was in Fortnum and Mason’s yesterday, sipping my cup of tea in the restaurant, when the couple at the table next to me had their coffees brought to them. I couldn’t control my excitement and asked them if I could photograph their coffee. How perfect is this? A cup of coffee with a mini ice cream? I shall insist on a mini ice cream with every coffee I order whilst out from now on.

Het gedrag van automobilisten tegen verkeersregelaars was vandaag met regelmaat schandalig. Hoeveel haast je ook hebt op deze mooie zondagmiddag (….), het is nooit een reden om een verkeersregelaar stijf te schelden, van zijn sokken te rijden of zelfs te mishandelen. Deze mensen doen gewoon hun werk en proberen onze dorpen veilig en vrij te houden van sluipverkeer. Eén verkeersregelaar is door een arts behandeld omdat hij ook nog klappen kreeg van een boze automobilist die niet in de file wilde staan. Van de ernstigste incidenten zijn kentekens, videobeelden en getuigenverklaringen beschikbaar. Wordt vervolgd. Ik heb er echt geen woorden voor. Doe even normaal mensen!
