Is anybody else interested in a free private jet flight for 6 people to Augusta to go to the The 2026 Masters this weekend? I'm still looking for 3-4 more people to join us. @KVanValkenburg From speaking with Titleist tour team many players now alter the strike location to use gear effect to hit draw(toe) fade (heel) - particularly if it’s not their natural shape. Rather than trying to swing it differently they just stand closer or further away from it to promote.

Another excellent day lies ahead at the Sunningdale Foursomes as rounds two and three are completed. Unsurprisingly, plenty of big names remain in the draw, and there are several matches that might justify slipping away from work to watch in person. Of particular note: - Walker Cup hopeful Harley Smith and LET player Thalia Kirby take on defending champion Harry Crockett and his partner Palmer Hestley. - Another Walker Cup contender, Tomi Bowen, faces former Ryder Cup player Jarmo Sandelin and his son. - Meanwhile, the other half of last year’s winning pair, David Corben, and his partner meet former NCAA Champion Henry Shimp and President’s Putter winner Edward Greenhalgh. And elsewhere in the draw, rival podcaster Eddie Pepp is still going alongside Andy Murray. Also progressing are Charley Hull, Alex Fitzpatrick, Kris Kim and a host of other tour players, former Walker Cuppers and familiar names.

With players out on both courses, the 92nd Sunningdale Foursomes is underway and the season has officially begun. 128 pairs - ranging from tour professionals and elite amateurs to everyday club golfers - are battling today to avoid the dreaded first round exit. Perhaps the noblest of the London-area heathland courses, Sunningdale’s Old course is a charming, tree-lined track dotted with heather patches and ingeniously placed bunkers. Willie Park Jr. crafted the 6,660-yard par-70 layout in 1901; later, club secretary-turned-architect Harry Colt made further refinements. Architecture buffs will appreciate the par-four 5th hole where the first man-made water hazard in golf design appears in the form of a pond on the right side of the fairway. Pro shop merchandising carries more weight than many people believe. It's critical and says a lot about the club. How well a shop is merchandised directly correlates to revenue. Are the shirts crisply folded? Which brands are front and center? What a member or guest sees/feels/hears/smells when they step into a shop matters. I'd actually love input from club merchandisers/pros on here. Fascinating topic that is often overlooked as it is a male-dominated space.
