Joel Farabee admitted he didn’t want to “jinx it,” so he didn’t call anyone.  But he did what any guy in his shoes would do: he snapped a photo of the Blasty jersey hanging in his stall, the crisp white 'A' stitched above the Flaming Horsehead, and sent it to his closest buddies. @ByronMBader @Flash_33 @Kent_Wilson Pretty wild looking back at it. The top three scorers for the 2005–06 Moose Jaw Warriors: Troy Brouwer, Dustin Boyd, and Blair Jones, all ended up having stints with Calgary, but never at the same time.

Circling back on the prospect piece the Flames got in the Weegar deal... Jonathan Castagna is starting to cook in his D+3 in the NCAA. Maybe he's a late bloomer. Likely best case scenario is you get something like Gustav Nyquist... which would be pretty, pretty good.
