Luckily, I don’t consider myself a politician, but a Bitcoiner, so I don’t care about the politics or optics. I don’t consider it a clown show either. I don’t consider @LukeDashjr or @hodlonaut clowns, and I take their arguments as seriously as I’ve considered the opposing ones. I’ve watched the Wall Street playbook exerted on Bitcoin for as long as I can remember: forkcoins, altcoins, shitcoins, NFTs, rare sats, and treasury COs. I’ve seen bad actors like Bailey obfuscate and manipulate the narrative and dilute what Bitcoin actually is. No wonder he paid off my security detail to derail the campaign, steal funds, and then publish pure fabrications by the same team he paid off, just to prevent another Bitcoin country from happening and protect his own interests. And to hear Paolo say he’s pushing USD hegemony shortly after, the same guy you crowned a new Cypherpunk, is all about global state capture. I would love to see you all actively spend resources on development and projects that increase adoption versus generating fiat gains by fleecing retail investors.

I guarantee you 90% of people who are 'opposed' to BIP-110 have done zero detailed research into the proposal.

Apparently, transaction validation rules are not censorship, unless the rule applies to OP_RETURN. Then, suddenly, Bitcoin Core has discovered civil liberties. Transaction must be correctly encoded: not censorship Inputs must exist: not censorship Inputs must be unspent: not censorship Signatures must be valid: not censorship Scripts must execute successfully: not censorship Timelocks must be satisfied: not censorship Input value must cover output value: not censorship Output values must remain within the monetary range: not censorship Transaction weight must remain within consensus limits: not censorship Transaction must comply with every other consensus rule: not censorship OP_RETURN data must remain within a consensus limit: CENSORSHIP Why can’t I spend your coins with an invalid signature? Who is censoring me? You can argue that an OP_RETURN limit is unnecessary, ineffective, or bad policy. But pretending it is uniquely “censorship” while every other validity rule is merely “validation” is transparently rhetorical.

Your node matters. You've come this far in the fight, consider opening up your BIP-110 node to be a listening node. It's a matter of opening a port on your Internet gateway to forward to your node. AI can assist.

@0xCointrader @NickJFuentes @Clavicular0 Perhaps we should make it a rule, the more famous somebody is -- e.g. the more followers they have on X -- the less we should trust them. Decentralize our trust. Widely trusted parties are security holes.

Bitcoin Mechanic on the people who say node runners are against the free market: "Bitcoin is nothing but rules. 21 million is a rule. There's a reason that you have savings now. There's a reason that you have a future. It's because of a rule being enforced. That's freedom. If you're going to be so puerile in your worldview that you cannot reconcile the fact that freedom can come from a rule enforced by a non-tyrannical, disparate group, then you're not capable of understanding Bitcoin at an adult level. You don't get rid of all the rules of the protocol and then say the free market will sort it out. It doesn't work like that." @GrassFedBitcoin on The @_BitcoinMatrix #283. @giacomozucco @mattkratter Why doesn’t Blockstream Mining then show proof of reserves? They could dispel this as FUD very easily, just show the mined BTC and where it’s held. Investors would quiet down if it’s proven to not be a ponzi, and maybe even buy more notes! (Win/win) I wonder why Adam doesn’t 🤔

@giacomozucco Andy Back refused to meet with the BSTR PIPE investors to dispel these allegations-- and thus ended up collapsing the BSTR deal. Why do you think Andy refused to rebut allegations that should be really easy to rebut? My bet is that it's because the allegations are true
