An update on the BonkDAO treasury. As we shared on July 6, a governance proposal moved assets out of the community treasury. Since then, we have been exploring all avenues for recovery. The wallets involved remain flagged and monitored. The BONK token itself was not compromised. No user funds or wallets were affected. To our knowledge, no other projects or protocols were impacted. This was isolated to the community treasury and a single vote. We are still gathering all the facts and a formal post mortem is forthcoming. BONK is safe to hold, use, and trade. You may notice precautionary labels on BONK, or temporary pauses on deposits or withdrawals, on some exchanges. These measures help keep the affected treasury funds from moving, and they protect the community while recovery efforts continue. We know the friction is frustrating, and we are working with the exchanges to restore normal activity as soon as possible. Resolving something like this in a decentralized system is complex and takes time, and we ask for your patience. We are working around the clock, and we will continue to share updates on progress. I’m a big believer in cycles. Always have been. It’s not a perfect science but it is a seasonal shift you can count on. There is no reason to overcomplicate markets. information overload in 2026 is the same as information scarcity pre-1996. The revert to the mean on both is cycles exist and can be exploited for capital gain. This is easier to understand the more cycles you see, the older you get, the more mistakes you make, the more money you make. There is an abundance of opportunity in markets but none have the asymmetry of crypto in my humble opinion. This is why I focus on coins. It’s easy to chase the hot ball of forever up markets but most people will lose money trading. Best advice I can give is find an area of interest. Stay in the pocket through the up and down. Know your industry, the players and the signs. Be prepared for opportunities and know value when you see it. We are approaching the window I’ve been waiting for in Crypto from a cycle perspective. I see the life being sold out of most alts at this point. It won’t take much at all from these levels to make meaningful multiples. It’s time to get positioned in alts although early. Majors for me have not bottomed just yet, I believe we end with a bang not a whimper and although majors are known to bottom before alts the opportunity cost given scarce liquidity should not be ignored. You must do the work and find your conviction. CT is not as valuable as it used to be. But that hasn’t changed the opportunity at hand for crypto. Stay in the pocket and start to accumulate. You’re in the right place. 2027 will be big. PS

BonkDAO was the target of a malicious governance proposal resulting in an estimated $20M worth of BONK tokens being drained from the BonkDAO treasury. During the investigation, BonkDAO identified the exchange wallets used to purchase BONK ahead of the proposal. BonkDAO is currently actively working with exchanges, bridges and Solana Foundation to best manage the situation. Law enforcement has been notified. BonkDAO continues to work with relevant parties to recover funds and identify those responsible.
