The 4WD tractor is arguably the patriarch of most grain farms It’s always been one of the coolest pieces of equipment in my mind When I drive by a dealership they always catch my eye Let’s see those high HP workhorses!

@BDuchek We have a ab640 with the 90 ft booms. Can’t say enough good things about it absolutely love it. I think our land would be similar to yours. Had no issues with it. Did 1100 ac in 11 hours and that was taking it rather easy. Thing is a beast.

Two more days of spreading left. Who out there is running a Salford with the 90' boom? This 70' seems small and time consuming especially with no AC working in the tractor. 700 acres is a good day. Worried about 90' in ditches though. Are the booms mounted higher? #AgTwitter

@KelvinHannah @DegelmanInd @elmersmfg Elmers has been great to us as well. Can’t say a single bad thing about them or their product.

Warranty issues on both a @DegelmanInd protill and a @elmersmfg super 7 harrow since last fall. Both situations where a third party’s product failed. Both have incredible service and stand behind their products. Two great Canadian manufacturers 👍🏼

Elmer’s super 7 barrow bar or Degelman Straw master plus 7 row ? Elmer’s is cheaper.

@courtseeds Yup, they work good. Can get models with non steerable axels as well. But for myself I think I’ll stick with the steerable axel.

@courtseeds Self steer. Then can turn them to manual mode where you can use a hyd to turn them whichever way you’d like.

Any opinions on the Brent steerable axles on their Avalanche grain carts??? Do they self steer on a corner or are they controlled from cab? Or both? 2 dealers, 2 different answers. #Brent #Unverferth

Anyone on here run dual shank Bourgault and put nitrogen down that way and eliminate the mrb? Im thinking best bet is still the bander or shank, especially for canola but we would like to eliminate that if possible. What about MRS or MRB?

@BDuchek Yup we do it with a 3 hopper tri. Works great.

Anybody running a 3 hopper triaxle grain trailer to fill their 1300 bushel Borgault air seeder tank? Or you pretty much need a super B already to fill them? Thinking a tri would be pretty heavy in the field loaded with enough product. #AgTwitter
