My biggest pet peeve on this app (and it's a LONG list mind you) is when people try to tell you that you shouldn't talk about a certain subject.
That's not how social media works. It exists in large part for people to express themselves and their thoughts.
It's YOUR choice whether or not to absorb it or engage with it. If ya don't like it or agree with it, just keeeeeeeep scrolling.

The NFL quickly collected a fine for the dunk celebration, then used those same images for promotion. The Offensive Player of the Year was turned into a comedy segment with Druski, minimizing an award earned through elite performance and hard work. NFL Honors never acknowledged the poor representation of one of the league’s top individual awards. The “prestigious” ceremony didn’t even air the pre-recorded acceptance speech. After months to prepare and ship the award, the only offensive player selected received a Defensive Player of the Year trophy. At some point, professionalism, respect, and attention to detail should matter.

LA plays Sun. Will have one less rest day and has to travel to Seattle. Slight adv SEA.

The Seahawks will have 3 consecutive weeks with short rest in December - Wk 14 vs NYG (Sun after MNF vs DAL) - Wk 15 @ PHI (Sat) - Wk 16 vs LAR (Fri) Seattle is the 3rd team since 1970 to play 3 straight weeks with short rest. The previous 2 both went 3-0 (2020 BAL, 1983 MIA)

Did an analysis of #Seahawks ' days rest vs each foe each week on the 2026 schedule.
Seattle will have a +8 (or +9, depending on a CAR at PIT flex game) rest advantage.
The Seahawks also had a +8 last year--5th-best in NFL--and won the Super Bowl

@OldWillieBoy All the top 10 are over $50M, so Darnold should get in that range. Curious what Mayfield will get -- he and Sam are in lockstep in their careers and contracts. Stroud & Young also up for extensions.

@CHawk_Talk All comes down to price. Agree he's got a way better attitude than the other guys, but also think it would be a mistake to give him anywhere top-5 money.

Wilson was traded because his insufferable ego had dwarfed his play.
Geno was traded because he wanted to play for Pete Carroll again.
Darnold does not have an oversized ego, and he wants to be in Seattle. He will get paid in 2027.

Weeks 5-8 is a dangerous stretch, with a loss there easy to see. Then Weeks 15-18 could result in a loss or two. Also, the Giants might put up the biggest fight after LAR, KC, PHI, CHI, SF ...

BREAKING: The #Dolphins and Pro Bowl RB De'Von Achane have agreed to a 4-year extension worth $68M, making him the NFL’s 3rd-highest-paid RB at $17M per year with $32M guaranteed, per multiple sources. Seth is a really good reporter but I feel like he’s doing some heavy speculative lifting here. 1) I don’t believe Seattle fans care about a fancier, “state of the art” facility. Lumen is meat-and-potatoes but that’s part of its appeal. It also helped it get built on time and under budget (which almost never happens). 2) Lumen doesn’t feel its age, like at all. Absolutely no argument that it’s obsolete or crumbling. 3) Most of all, it’s paid off! The new owner doesn’t assume massive stadium debt as part of the deal, like so many others have. Why CREATE more debt when you have that advantage? I’m not saying Lumen will last forever, but replacing it would seem to me to be the least of any new owners concerns for a good long while.
