Guys used to have integrity in the NBA, they used to treat the game with respect. Stat padding was shameful.
Larry Bird in a game in 1985 had 30 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and 9 steals in ONLY 3 quarters. He was one steal away from recording the 2nd quadruple double in NBA history.
He chose to not play in the 4th because it was a blowout, the media asked him if he regretted it and he said, “what for? I already did enough damage to them” 🔥
Stat padding is an embarrassment, anyone who supports it makes our beautiful game a joke ✌️
